Description
I love nature and it makes me happy to build my house in the woods. I am an environmental engineer, a professor in a university. But now I am in a sabbatical and I am most dedicated to eco-building and harvesting coffee and other vegetables ans fruits as avocado.
I have passions as caring for the planet, music percussion, and now building.

Here we try to be as sustainable as posible, hence we avoid plastic use, particularly plastic "wipes" and composite materials as tetra-pack or chips packaging. We try to produce less and less garbage every day. Also we rely on rain water and we save it and try no to pollute it so we have dry toilet. Here is very rainy but still we try to save water and energy. Mos of construction materials are from the site and low carbon footprint. Organic wastes are composted but still trying to get rid of others.
Nearby there are extreme sports such as rafting, hiking, paragliding, bungee jumping, mountain biking, canyoning, caves expeditions, rivers, waterfalls and touristic villages such as San Gil and Guadalupe (Las Gachas), Socorro, Curití, Mogotes, Pinchote, Cañón del Chicamocha national park, Oiba.
