    Description

    We are a family-run hostel, motorbike rental, and tour company located in Ha Giang City.
    We help all kinds of travelers in organizing their journey around the Ha Giang Loop. It is a span of mountains in the north of Vietnam that can be explored by over 400 km of roads. Our company is dedicated to providing tour services for guests to safely explore the loop and discover all its beauty and secrets. At our hostel, we provide sleeping accommodations, motorbike practice and rental services, and tour information meetings. We are located next to the river in Ha Giang, close to shops, cafes, parks and lots of other restaurants. The Ha Giang Loop is the highlight of Vietnam for many travelers, and you will likely encounter many foreigners along your journey around the mountains!

    As a volunteer, we expect you to assist us in the following;
    1. Reception Work: As an English speaker, your ability to communicate with our guests is very important. More than anything else, assistance with front desk tasks such as checking guests, signing motorbike rental agreements, and helping guests purchase bus tickets would make everything much easier for our staff and our guests.
    2. Motorbike Rental: The motorbike rental agreements ensure our guests know what they are getting into with the use of our motorbikes. Helping them understand our policies and answering their questions about this would be very helpful.
    3. Tour information: After you settle in at the hostel, we ask that you participate in one of the tours around the Ha Giang Loop. Your knowledge and experience of the loop are very valuable to our guests, especially those who have not ridden a motorbike before. You can either take one of our bikes (semi-automatic or manual) or ride on the back of a bike while one of our experienced riders takes you around the loop.
    5. Hostel Improvement: Your opinion matters to us! We want to know how we can improve our hostel to improve the guest experience! If there is anything about the room layout or decor, sleeping arrangements, or motorbike rental process that you believe is lacking in any way, please let us know! We are eager to refine our business!

    Ann is the hostel manager. She is super friendly, really helpful, and always happy! She knows the Ha Giang loop inside out and she will provide you with all the information you need to navigate your way through the mountains. Our staff is really friendly, always laughing and making jokes. They will help you with whatever you need and answer any questions you have regarding the work. The staff would greatly benefit from speaking English with you and will gladly teach you to speak Vietnamese. The owner is very welcoming and makes everyone feel like part of the family!

    Volunteers can oder food from our menu. We offer a variety of meals, usually consisting of fried rice with meat and vegetarian options. We have family lunch (volunteers and staff) and family dinner (volunteers, staff, and hostel guests) every day. This is always a fun time where we share food, stories, and good laughs. It is a great way to meet local people and fellow travelers. While we are happy to cook for you, we strongly encourage you to explore Ha Giang City and try the local cuisine! Occasionally we will invite you to go out with us to our favorite restaurants!
