Description
Hi! I'm Devin, a 22-year-old traveler and designer from New York City.
I have always wanted to explore the world and now am making that happen through Workaway! I'm adventurous, outgoing, and love to take on new experiences and explore new environments. After graduating with a BA in Design & Computer Science in the Spring of 2024, I worked in Manhattan for five months and then left NYC for SE Asia to travel.
Over the past year, I have had an amazing experience volunteering and traveling throughout Asia. My past workaway experiences include teaching English in Thailand, working as a hostel social rep and later as an international schoolteacher in Vietnam, creating recycled art projects in Indonesia, and working as a brand and graphic designer in Bangladesh.
What brings me happiness is the opportunity to explore new places and connect with people from different cultures. I'm very social and love trying new things, especially those that challenge me and push me out of my comfort zone. Some of my favorite activities include photography, drumming, creating art, hiking, and cooking.
