Welcome to our site, how wonderful that you found us.
We are a growing community consisting of three women, two men between 40 and 64 years old, a teenager, a mixed-breed dog, and a cat.
We live and work at a former school camp with 2.5 hectares of nature, in the heart of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve of the Swabian Alb. The nearest large town is Ehingen an der Donau, 17 km away. The university town of Ulm is about 35 km away, and Lake Constance (Swabian Sea) is just under an hour and a half away by car on country roads. You can even see the Alps from the Wolfertturm tower in Ehingen.
There are many remarkable ancient caves, castles, and palaces here, such as the "Hohle Fels" World Heritage Site, the only navigable water cave in Germany, the "Wimsener Höhle," and other UNESCO-designated sites such as the "Blautopf" in the Geopark. There's even a Stone Age village with stilt houses to visit.
In addition to countless picturesque villages and towns, hot springs, and thermal baths, there are cycling and hiking trails that lead through the nearby Lautertal and Wolfstal valleys.
During your stay, you will be part of our community and participate in daily activities. Mentors will accompany you, and you will have the opportunity to express your wishes and contribute ideas. Our top priority is communal living and working together in our educational center, with sustainable creative projects and various seminars. We are a place of encounter.

Herzlich Willkommen auf unserer Seite, wie schön, dass du uns gefunden hast.
Wir sind die eine wachsende Gemeinschaft bestehend aus drei Frauen, zwei Männern zwischen 40-64 Jahre, einem Jugendlichen, einer Mischlings-Hündin und einer Katze.
Wir leben und wirken am einem ehemaligen Schullandheim mit 2,5 ha Natur, mitten im UNESCO-Biosphärenreservat der schwäbischen Alb. Die nächste größere Stadt ist Ehingen a.d. Donau und liegt 17 km entfernt. Die Universitätsstadt Ulm liegt ca. 35 km entfernt und zum Bodensee (schwäbisches Meer) sind es knapp 1 ½ Stunden mit dem Auto über Landstraßen. Die Alpen kannst du sogar schon vom Wolfertturm in Ehingen sehen.
Hier gibt es viele bemerkenswerte alte Höhlen, Burgen und Schlösser wie z.B. das Weltkulturerbe „Hohle Fels“, die einzige befahrbare Wasserhöhle Deutschlands „Wimsener Höhle“ und weitere UNESCO-Auszeichnungen wie der „Blautopf“ im Geopark. Es gibt sogar ein Steinzeitdorf mit Pfahlbauten zu besichtigen.
Neben unzähligen malerischen Dörfern und Städtchen, warmen Quellen & Thermalbädern gibt es Rad- und Wanderwege, die durch das naheliegende Lautertal und Wolfstal führen.
Du wirst während deines Aufenthaltes Teil unserer Gemeinschaft sein und an den täglichen Abläufen teilnehmen. Dich begleiten Paten und du hast Raum deine Wünsche zu äußern und Ideen einzubringen. An erster Stelle liegt bei uns das gemeinschaftliche Leben und gemeinsame Wirken in unserer Bildungsstätte mit nachhaltigen kreativen Projekten und verschiedenen Seminaren. Wir sind ein Ort der Begegnung.

We are deeply interested in the exchange of different cultures, their culinary delights, music, art, and dance. We organize joint excursions to sights, craft markets, exhibitions, public events, and explore the surrounding area.
E-bikes are available. We value a work-life balance. As an educational and meeting place, many curious and interested people visit.

Wir sind sehr interessiert am Austausch der verschiedenen Kulturen, sei es kulinarisch oder mit Musik, Kunst und Tanz. Wir organisieren gemeinsame Ausflüge zu Sehenswürdikeiten, Kunsthandwerkermärkten, öffentlichen Veranstaltungen und erforschen die Umgebung. E-Bikes sind verfügbar. Wir schätzen den Ausgleich zwischen Arbeit und Leben. Durch unsere Lern- und Begegnungsstätte besuchen viele neugierige und interessierte Menschen.

What can you specifically learn with us?
By helping with our seminars, you will gain a wide range of experience, there are opportunities to try out activities such as vegetarian and vegan cooking in a large kitchen, maintaining and cleaning the guest house and seminar rooms, gardening and grounds maintenance, creative craft activities and repairs, seasonal fruit and vegetable processing, and, if desired, participation in educational and shamanic programs offered by the community. Of particular note are regular events for networking in the region and getting to know people through our Sunday café, the annual circle festivals, and the weekly communal sharing in the circle (including EM according to G. Klein, Nonviolent Communication, Community Compass Ecovillage Sieben Linden, Scott Peck, and WIR process facilitation).
You are also welcome to support us in our annual holiday adventure program for children and gain experience in educational work, as well as participate in the mother-daughter weekend. Since one young person within the community is supervised by a foster carer, you will also gain many valuable insights into an alternative way of interacting with young people.
We are looking for people who want to contribute to the community and bring new ideas so that we too can remain flexible and open.
What does your specific help/activity entail?
20 hours per week supporting the team, with a maximum of 4 hours per day and a maximum of 5 days per week; help is welcome on weekends.
The hours of your help will be paid at minimum wage, if You like we care for your food for an energy balance.

Was kannst du konkret bei uns lernen?
Durch die Mithilfe in unserem Seminarbetrieb bekommst du viele verschiedene Eindrücke und Möglichkeiten dich auszuprobieren wie vegetarisch & veganes Kochen in einer Großküche, Pflegen & Reinigen des Gästehauses und der Seminarräume, Garten- und Geländepflege, handwerklich kreative Tätigkeiten & Reparaturen, Obst- und Gemüseverarbeitung nach Saison, Mitwirken und auf Wunsch auch Teilnahme an pädagogischen und schamanischen Angeboten durch die Gemeinschaft. Besonders hervorzuheben sind regelmäßig stattfindende Events zur Vernetzung in der Region und zum Kennenlernen der Menschen durch unser Sonntags-Cafe, die Jahreskreisfeste und das wöchentliche gemeinschaftliche Teilen im Kreis (u.a. durch EM nach G. Klein, Gewaltfreie Kommunikation, Gemeinschaftskompass Ökodorf Sieben Linden, Scott Peck, WIR-Prozessbegleitung).
Sehr gerne kannst du uns auch bei unserem jährlich stattfindenden Ferien-Abenteuer-Angebot für Kinder unterstützen und damit Erfahrungen in der pädagogischen Arbeit sammeln sowie beim Mutter-Tochter-Wochenende dabei sein. Da innerhalb der Gemeinschaft eine Jugendliche durch eine Erziehungsstelle betreut wird, bekommst du auch hier viele wertvolle Einblicke in eine alternative Umgangsweise mit jungen Menschen.
Wir wünschen uns Menschen, die sich in Gemeinschaft einbringen möchten und neue Impulse mitbringen, damit auch wir beweglich und offen bleiben.
Wie sieht deine konkrete Hilfe/ Tätigkeit aus?
20 Std. in der Woche Unterstützung des Teams, bei max. 4 Std. am Tag und max. an 5 Tagen/Woche, am Wochenende Mithilfe erwünscht.
Deine Mithilfe wird mit dem Mindestlohn vergütet und wenn Du willst sorgen wir gegen einen Ausgleich für deine Verpflegung.

Accommodation
You will have your own room in the guesthouse and use a shared bathroom.
There is a common room with a wood-burning stove, a cozy sofa corner, foosball table, and a dining or games table. The self-catering kitchen is available for use.
We invite you to join us for lunch. In summer, you can also spend the night outside in a glamping tent and enjoy the stars.

Du bekommst im Gästehaus ein Zimmer für dich und benutzt ein Gemeinschaftsbad. Es gibt einen Gemeinschaftsraum mit Holzofen, gemütlicher Sofaecke, Kicker und Ess- oder Spieletisch. Die Selbstversorgerküche kann genutzt werden. Wir laden dich zum gemeinsamen Mittagessen ein. Im Sommer kannst du auch draußen im Glamping-Zelt übernachten und die Sterne genießen.

Attila is calm and very fucussed. He did all the tasks very well and was always friendly and a pleasant conversationalist, his English is very good. Thank you very much.
But he was only with us for a short time and it was not right for both sides.
Also because the communication in Spanish was difficult for all of us.
Eric should urgently improve his English if the host does not speak Spanish.
We wish him good luck for his future.
