We are a new and growing English course located in Indonesia's biggest English teaching community. It is located in the heart of the 'English village', with a beautiful view of the scenery and close proximity to the cafes, market, and ATMs. We do have our own cafe on the third floor, while our students stay on the first and second floors.
We want to give an unforgettable experience to our students who learn English by giving them access to foreigners for teaching and learning process. On the other hand, we want to promote our culture to foreigners (and learn theirs too) so that we will have a better understanding for both with the hope to make a better world community.
Indonesia is a diverse country with population of people from different background of tribes, traditional languages and religions. This is a melting pot of them (not to mention students from abroad such as Yemen, Thailand and others) who come together for one purpose; learning English. Consisting of around 150 English courses and camps (boarding houses with English programs), this is a great place to visit.
Workawayers will have the chance to learn how to interact with our tutors from different parts of Indonesia and our students who stay in our camps, either for two-week programs or the longer ones. The students differ from school kids to university students as well as professionals. You will learn how to manage the students in terms of communicating with foreigners which is a challenge since mostly people teach here using Indonesian. We can provide trainings in teaching if Workawayers don't come from teaching background.
We want Workawayers who are native or the people who speak good English to teach and interact with our students. Although it is not required, having an English teaching background will be a plus since it will support the teaching and learning process. In addition, the Workawayers might be asked to provide trainings for the tutors to upgrade their English and teaching skills.
You will assist our main teachers, typically 10-25 minute per class. In a day you will visit 2-4 classes (possibly more if it is peak season). For sharing purposes, you might be asked to observe someone's class to see how they teach (and you can comment on their teaching as well to improve their methods). The tutors also need to see your class so that they can learn the way you teach. A class lasts for 80 minutes.
We also have kids class (kindergarten and elementary students) so if you want to learn to teach and share your teaching experience, you are more than welcome to do so.

Our rooms are nice. The building is cleaned regularly by some helpers. Toilets are everywhere, clean and clear. Classrooms are strongly built, furnished with white boards and stationaries. ACs are present. Food are chosen based on preference. Nearby are also food stalls with incredibly cheap prices (typically costs $0.8 for meal and drink of a person).
We provide food for the Workawayers. We are open to discuss the amount and type of food should you have any specific request.
People usually use bicycles here. You can buy or rent them, but we can also get you one. For traveling, we can provide the car. Online motorcycle and car cabs (GOJEK and GRAB) are available, so it is easy to go anywhere as well as order foods should you don't want to go out. WiFi is free.
