  Hej fellow workers!
  My name is Larissa, I am 35 years old and live in a small gardenhouse in Vienna, in the middle of Vienna's forest at the very end of a dead end on a hill. I am selfemployed as experiental educator, I do teambuildings, teach social pedagogues, do circus workshops for children and workshops on edible wild plants for adults. I love to work outdoors - whether it is renovating my house, doing gardenwork or doing my jobs ; )
  If you come here you'll have the possibility to choose between being in nature (one side of my fence borders the forest) or enjoying everything that Vienna, a well-known city for it's many cultural opportunities, has to offer. I always say: I have the luck to have the best out of two worlds: living in the middle of the forest, all quiet and green, and at the same time reaching Austria's capital city center in 30 minutes bicycle ride.

  First of all, like I already mentioned, you'll benefit from a very close to nature life here, and at the same time the possibility of thousands of cultural offers which Vienna has (but also natural ones like the danube island and the beautiful forests which are wonderful for hiking, mountainbiking, climbing etc.). I live in very good relationship with my neighbours, they all have their own gardens & houses and it is a wonderful sharing spirit here. I think you'll also benefit from that, just many of them are 70+ and don't speak so well english... but there are a few in my age as well :)
  Furthermore, you might learn some crafts as we will do a lot of craft projects together. Over the years I acquired quite some knowledge. And I prefer to use organic/natural materials, where it is affordable and makes sense!

  I have a lot of projects to do on my 28m² garden-house and garden: next projects will be insulating the roof, laying a path in the garden out of bricks, building a roof to store firewood, cutting & chopping wood, sanding & painting the roof (this is all outside), but also inside: painting the walls, laying a wooden floor, etc. as well as smaller projects like cleaning up / sorting the workshop, etc. etc.
  Sometimes I will ask you to work on a craft project with me together, sometimes I'd ask you to help by doing some tasks on your own. I am pretty sure there will always be the possibility to choose between more than one project that could be done ;)

  Accommodation

  Over the last winter I built a sauna in my garden which I also use as a beautiful little guestroom - this will be yours. It is important for you to know that I live a very simple life here: I have no bathroom, only a cold shower next to the sauna and a compost-toilet in the garden. In the kitchen, there is warm water. I will share 2 rooms out of three in my house with you (anteroom and kitchen, sleeping room will be my private space like the sauna will be yours). Also, In my garden there is a campfire-space which is happy to get used.
  Our first project will probably be to build you a small table into the guest/saunaroom and put electricity there so you can charge your phone and have artificial light if you need!

  What else ...

  My place is on a small hill - the city center is approximately half an hour by bicycle, 45 minutes by public transport because the nex busstop is 10 minutes walk through the woods, the next tramway is 20 minutes walk (one through a park and one through the forest : ) away. I can offer you a bicycle to get wherever you like. I will not list all the sights and offers that are here in Vienna, as the list is endless. Whatever you're intrested in, I'm happy to help and find out about the things that you'd like to do / experience / see in this beautiful city!
  As summer is coming closer, I might mention there are plenty of free swimming places on danube island for example : )
