    Description

Calling all nature-lovers, DIY dreamers, and artistic free spirits! Come hang out with us—plus two dogs, three chickens, and the occasional nosy deer—on the spectacular Wild Atlantic Way in West Donegal.

We’re looking for creative minds who love the outdoors and aren’t afraid of a bit of mud under their nails or paint on their overalls. 🌊🌿🎨 March to September 2026

    What you’ll be helping with:
🌱 Landscaping and keeping our big garden in great shape
🛠️ Small DIY projects—think rustic, clever, and hands-on
🌲 Maintaining and creating trails through our little woodland
♻️ Recycling, repurposing & reusing—bonus points if you’re a master of turning “junk” into treasure
🎨 Got artistic flair? We’d love help making unique, nature-inspired signage and installations

    You’ll have:
🛖 A cosy, self-contained cabin with a separate toilet and shower
🍽️ Meals provided based on your dietary preferences
🌐 High-quality WiFi – perfect if you're remote working or just like to stay connected
👯 Space for a couple, solo adventurer, or two friends (please note: the cabin is open-plan and is not designed for long term stays)

This is a peaceful rural spot—ideal if you're craving a quiet retreat with time to think, create, and connect with nature. If you have your own transport, you’ll have access to incredible cultural and outdoor activities nearby. Without it, you'll be relying on limited public transport or your own two feet (there’s a bus to Crolly and an airport at Carrickfinn for arrivals).

If you’ve got a spark of creativity and a passion for the planet, we’d love to welcome you here.

Donegal is a wild gem tucked away in Ireland’s northwest corner, where the Wild Atlantic Way shows off its most dramatic views. Crashing waves, rugged cliffs, and jaw-dropping scenery—this place is pure magic. We're nestled right in the heart of the Gaeltacht, so you'll even get the chance to hear (and maybe learn!) a bit of Gaeilge, the Irish language.

We’re happy to teach hands-on skills as we go, and we love when people bring their own creative spark to projects.

We’re all about land care, small DIY projects, and creative outdoor magic. If you love nature and like to think outside the box, you’ll fit right in. We especially welcome artistic minds who want to work with the environment, not against it. Experience in recycling, repurposing, and reusing is a big plus—if you can turn old into awesome, we want you here!

    What else ...

A car is highly recommended—public transport is pretty limited out here in the wilds of Donegal. But if you’ve got your own wheels, there’s loads to explore: beaches, mountains, music, and culture galore!

That said, we’re not totally off the map—there’s 2 pubs just 5 minutes’ walk away (yes, really 🍻) and shops about 20 minutes on foot, so you won’t be stranded for the essentials or a good pint!
