Ki's cottage is a safe place for whoever wants to be in contact with nature with a bit of queer vibes. Ki was very generous and made us always feel very comfortable. He's always ready for nice conversations but you'll also have plenty of personal space. I really enjoyed the fact that Ki has made his cottage a place that every workawayer can now

Simon and I stayed with Kieran for a week, and what a great week that was! Kieran is cool, friendly, easy going and very likeable. During our stay we had many rich and interesting conversations about all kinds of things, some of which really changed my outlook on nature and how we ought to interact with it. Before coming, Simon and I were a bit

The cottage is charming, rustic and beautifully decorated, but the highlight for me was definetly the field/garden that's nicely perched on a small hill with a view over the river. As soon as I saw the place I immediately understood Kieran's vision and felt thrilled to be able to contribute to it. Kieran's attention for detail and eye for beauty make for such an idylic outdoor space. Simon and I wish you all the best from France. Thank you for Kieran!

Em and Maddie are both delightful young people who inspired me during their short stay with their open mindedness, curiousity, and warmth. Although they are on different paths in life they have been friends since the age of four and I think that no matter which way their paths go their friendship will survive. They were extremely easy going guests

Although we only stayed with Ki for 6 nights, we had a truly fantastic time at this whimsical cottage. We would recommend this workaway to anyone who likes the countryside and doesn't mind a bit of a walk into town! Ki is immensely kind and generous with their space and time, is an amazing semi vegan cook, and we had many wonderful conversations

Staying with Ki was really amazing. The food is omfgggg - just amazing. Healthy and craycray tasty. He is super chilled, working with him is a lot of fun and he really appreciated us and our help. I feel exceptionally lucky to have had Birger and Kieran stay with me for over 3 weeks this summer. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would as they brought so much enthusiasm, energy, and fun to the cottage. They were both more than happy to help me with some of the routine jobs, such as weeding, that need to be done, but they were very

I hope that one day they can return and see how the work they did here has developed. Anybody who has them as guests will be a very fortunate host!

Mercè was a delightful workaway guest here. It was her first workaway experience but you would never know that because she immediately jumped into all the work with a great attitude and enthusiasm. I highly recommend her for any workaway hosts as she is a fabulous human being and works really well in a team. I hope to see her again here as she will always be welcome. xx

Staying with Ki for my first workaway experience was the best I could have asked for.
Ki has an amazing cottage with garden and the best view. Also, Cocou and Roxy are THE BEST CATS IN THE WORLD!
The work overall was pleasant and rewarding. We did some painting, but mostly gardening, which was so good and fulfilling.

Futaba recently stayed with me for 10 days and her frieind Jodie came along at the same time. They were both wonderful guests and really helped my project here get off the ground. Futaba is an extremely gracious person and has a nice chilled vibe. She understood what I needed to get done and jumped right in to the work. She also took her own

Her and Jodie had become friends at another workaway and it was lovely hosting them not only to do work but to offer a space where their friendship could deepen and grow. On days off we were able to go into the town, out to the coast, and we even managed to go to a really fun queer club which was held in a beautiful old theatre. Futaba is a kind, respectful, and joyful soul. I hope she can return some day and I highly recommend her as a workaway guest.

I stayed at Ki's wonderful house for 10 days. I stayed with my friend who is not a Workaway participant, but Ki was really welcoming to host us! I asked Ki if I could leave earlier because I wanted to sightsee in Cork, and Ki kindly agreed. Ki served three vegetarian meals for us, and all were perfect. During my stay at Ki's house, I did gardening and painting. We could choose when to start working and schedule work for another day. The work was not hard. I weeded Ki's beautiful garden and planted flowers. Painting was one of my favorite tasks. We painted the dining room wall and made it much prettier.
On our day off, we went to town and enjoyed sightseeing. Ki even served us on our day off, which was so helpful. I really had a great time, and I hope we will see each other again!!! Grá!You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

I had a very positive Workaway experience at Kieran's house. Kieran is easy going, friendly and thoughtful with a good sense of humour. He taught me about various plants and permaculture principles and cooked delicious vegetarian/vegan meals which we enjoyed together. We had lots of interesting conversations about the creative arts, environmental
… read more and social issues as well as good philosophies to live by. The work was light - mainly gardening - and plenty of time was reserved for exploring the area. I drove but workawayers who don't have a car could cycle places, perhaps exploring the Greenway. Kieran's field overlooks the river - such a lovely view - and Waterford is full of beautiful scenery from mountains to coast. All in all it was a great stay and I left having made a good friend in Kieran. Kieran, I wish you well in all your plans for the house and land! You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.
