    Description

We are a small and friendly NGO in Estonia working in nature education, sustainable tourism and social inclusion. Our base is located on a quiet, private 100-hectare nature property surrounded by forests, meadows, springs and wildlife.

This is a deeply value-driven place where we actively contribute to the UN 2030 Agenda and the global Sustainable Development Goals in everyday practice.

Our work focuses on clean drinking water, nature conservation, and environmental education, and we are a proud holder of the EUROPARC certification, recognising us as a sustainably managed nature tourism destination.

We welcome volunteers who care about nature, water, local communities, and a truly green way of life — here, your work has real meaning and impact.
For more than 20 years we have been offering:
nature and outdoor education for schools
    hiking and nature tours
    environmental workshops
accessible nature days for people with disabilities
    community activities

You will mostly work together with Priit, a nature guide and project leader, who enjoys teaching volunteers about the forest, wildlife, clean water and sustainable living.
We love hosting Workawayers — every person brings something new, and together we create something meaningful for our visitors and our environment.

🌍 Cultural Exchange & Learning Opportunities

Staying with us offers a peaceful nature experience plus a warm connection with local people, traditions and everyday Estonian life.

small hikes together with our team
local community events or nature days
    friendly gatherings around a campfire
shared meals or tea breaks after outdoor work
visits to nearby villages, farms or cultural sites

You will meet local families, school children, villagers and people with disabilities who take part in our programmes. Our community is small, friendly and very welcoming.

🌿 Skills & knowledge we can share with you

While working side-by-side, you can learn:
    plant and animal identification
basics of nature education and guiding groups outdoors
    simple woodworking and trail maintenance
Estonian forest traditions and local folklore
sustainable living practices and clean water knowledge
how to organise accessible nature activities
If you're interested, we can also teach you about:
Estonian culture, history, rural life, language basics and local customs.

🌎 What we hope to learn from you

Hosting Workawayers is a chance for us to:
    hear new ideas
learn about different cultures and daily life in other countries
discover new working methods or creative approaches
improve our English and international communication
get inspired by your skills, experiences and worldview
Every volunteer adds something unique — whether it’s a new skill, a fresh perspective or simply positive energy.

    ✨ A two-way exchange

We believe cultural exchange works best when both sides share, listen and learn from each other.
Our place is quiet and natural, but full of meaningful interactions.
If you enjoy nature, people and real human connection, you’ll experience a lot more than just “volunteering”.

    Can possibly accept pets

For safety reasons, we strongly recommend not bringing pets. We live deep in the forest, and wildlife (foxes, lynx, birds of prey etc.) can be dangerous for animals. To keep both your animals and local wildlife safe, it is better not to bring pets. If you have any specific questions about remote work, campervans or other practical matters, feel free to ask — we are flexible and happy to help where possible.
