  Hello!
  
  We are a French–Colombian couple developing a rural eco-project in Corneilla-de-Conflent, a beautiful village in the south of France, at the foothills of the Canigó mountain 🌄
  
  We are currently renovating and progressively transforming the place into a lively, ecological and cultural space.

  👨‍👩‍👧 Who we are
  
  Jonathan is French, Manu is Colombian (Hispanic), and we speak several languages: French, English, Spanish, Catalan and German.
  
  Manu is an artist and yoga teacher, and we are happy to share creative moments or yoga sessions with volunteers who are interested.
  
  We also have a 10-month-old baby, so part of the help includes family life and childcare.

  The house is located in a peaceful village surrounded by nature, mountains and rivers.
  • 5 minutes from a train station
  • 45 minutes from both ski resorts and Mediterranean beaches
  • 2h30 from Barcelona
  
  It’s an ideal place if you enjoy nature, hiking, and a slower, more meaningful rhythm.

  Ideally, we are looking for a couple or two people traveling together helping with childcare and family life (au pair style, a few hours a day)
  
  Our project is based above all on cultural exchange, shared experiences and mutual learning always with guidance and support whenever needed ;)

  🌿 About the area & free time
  
  We live in the beautiful village of Corneilla-de-Conflent, in the South of France, at the foot of the Canigou mountain in the Catalan Pyrenees.
  
  The area is perfect for nature lovers and people looking for a peaceful but inspiring environment. Around the village you can enjoy:
  • hiking and mountain walks directly from the house
  • rivers and natural swimming spots in summer
  • hot springs nearby
  • climbing, canyoning and outdoor activities
  • local markets and small Catalan villages
  • cultural festivals and summer events
  • yoga, art and creative activities
  
  Location:
  • a the bottom of famous Canigou mountain (sacred mountain of the catalans people) offering amazing landscapes all year round.
  • 45 min to ski resorts and 55 min to Mediterranean beaches
  • 5 min drive to train station of Villefranche-de-Conflent (UNESCO village)
  • Spain (45 min) and Barcelona (2h30) accessible by train or car
