  Hello!
  We are Gloria and Juan, mother and son, we live in a small piece of countryside, seeking to live in a quieter way and at our own pace.
  
  I (Juan) after traveling for a few years through South America volunteering in various places, I have found these forms of cultural exchange to be one of the best ways to travel.
  
  The place is a 1000 m2 plot with two small cabins and some space where there are some trees and many flowers. Our project initially is to start making terraces to grow our own food, and also to move towards a slightly more self-sustainable way of living, little by little. We are starting this path.

  Somos Gloria y Juan, madre e hijo, vivimos en un pequeño pedazo de campo, buscando vivir de una manera mas tranquila y a nuestro propio ritmo.
  
  Yo (Juan) después de viajar por unos cuantos años por Suramérica siendo voluntario en varios lugares he encontrado en estas formas de intercambio cultural una de las mejores maneras de viajar.
  
  El lugar es una parcela de 1000 m2 con dos cabañas chicas y algo de espacio donde hay algunos arboles y muchas flores. Nuestro proyecto inicialmente es comenzar a hacer bancales para cultivar nuestra propia comida, también ir transitando hacia una forma un poco mas autosustentable de vivir, poco a poco. estamos comenzando este camino.

  We offer you an opportunity to share and make you feel like family. Get to know our country environment, also with the possibility of visiting some very picturesque nearby towns, you can learn about coffee (I am a Barista and we live among coffee plantations) and we are also on the way to advance with our carpentry workshop.
  
  It is also a good place to practice your Spanish.

  Les ofrecemos una oportunidad para compartir y que te sientas como en familia. Conocer nuestro entorno campestre, también con posibilidad de visitar algunos pueblos cercanos muy pintorescos, puedes aprender sobre café (Soy Barista y vivimos entre cafetales) y también estamos en camino de avanzar con nuestro taller de carpintería.
  
  también es un buen lugar para practicar tu español.

  Help

  We need a little help with the basic daily tasks of maintaining the place, clearing weeds, pruning, sometimes some construction, carpentry, painting, setting up garden beds, planting, watering and similar things.
  
  We would also like to learn more about permaculture or any related topic in which you could advise us in seeking to be more self-sustainable. Likewise in topics such as meditation, yoga and healthy eating, it would be a great contribution.

  Necesitamos un poco de ayuda en las tareas básicas diarias de mantener el lugar, limpiar hierbas, poda, en ocasiones algo de construcción, carpintería, pintura, armado de bancales para cultivo, siembra, riego y cosas similares.
  
  También nos gustaría aprender mas sobre permacultura o cualquier tema afín en el que nos pudieran asesorar buscando ser mas autosostenibles. Igualmente en temas como meditación, yoga y alimentación saludable, seria un gran aporte.

  Accommodation

  We are in the process of building a place to receive more people, for now we can offer a place to set up a tent in the middle of nature, with 100% access to kitchen and bathroom, on some occasions there may be a room available. The weather here is hot spring type.
  
  The meals will be prepared by each one with the provision of the food that we provide for this. with options to occasionally cook together under agreement.

  Estamos en proceso de construir un lugar para recibir mas personas, por lo pronto podemos ofrecer un lugar para armar carpa en medio de la naturaleza, con acceso a cocina y baño 100%, en algunas ocasiones puede haber una habitación disponible. el clima acá es caluroso tipo primaveral.
  
  Las comidas serán preparadas por cada uno con disposición de los alimentos que proveemos nosotros para esto. con opciones de ocasionalmente bajo acuerdo cocinar en conjunto.

  We are located in a rural area about 14 km from the center of Armenia and 10 from the airport. You can get there by bus and walking the last 2.5 km or by taxi/uber (approximately 30 thousand Colombian pesos)
