I stayed with Geir and Jorunn for almost 3 weeks and really had the best time. It was my first Workaway experience and I couldn’t wish for anything else! Geir and Jorunn were great and thanks to Geir, knowing a lot about history, I now do know a lot about this topic too! The work was great, we painted the small barn and sorted some things in the

(A great reason to come here are also the pancakes that Jorunn makes ;))
Lola, Pepsi and the goats are really the cutest and I miss them dearly!
I can definitely recommend staying here!
We had an absolutely perfect experience here! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed as part of the family. The accommodation was beautiful and super comfortable — we couldn’t have asked for more.
We shared long, lovely conversations during lunch and dinner and felt truly connected with them.
The work was fair, enjoyable and well

This place is full of heart and we’re so grateful to have been part of this family. Thank you so much for everything — we hope to return to visit you again soon!

I had a really really good time here. In the end I didn't want to leave, because everything was just so nice there. Waking up with such an amazing view at the fjord, being happily welcomed by the 13 goats that roam around and Lola the dog (she is soo adorable) and eating with Geir and Jorunn the great food Jorunn made.

They sometimes had visitors and we also drove to nearby villages or cities. I recommend to visit Bergen (it's a beautiful and really old city).
There is so much more to talk about but in short: They try to make you as comfortable as possible and you can talk about everything with them. I definitely will come back at some point!Left by host for Workawayer (Laura)
Laura is a hard worker and a very nice person. We are happy tp have hosted her, and she is welcome back any day. As they say- she came as a worker and left as family. The dogs miss her also. All the best from the fjords.

Hello, my name is Bernat. I have been with Geir and Jorunn from December 2nd to February 4th. It has been a great stay; it was definitely worth it, an unforgettable experience. I have learned a lot of English, a little Norwegian, and above all, I have taught them a bit of Spanish. The goats are beautiful and very friendly; they are like dogs

The food is amazing; I have eaten whale and deer, and I tried surströmming and shark as a challenge. I think that's everything. It's a very nice and relaxed place.

Geir and Jorunn are really fantastic hosts. They know so much, and it’s a real pleasure to talk about everything and learn new things. They were my first hosts, and it was an incredible experience.
Their dogs are lovely, the house and landscape are unforgettable, and the food was excellent. They introduced me to many Norwegian dishes.

Clem is an all around good guy, and it is easy to get fond of him. He was our first guest, and we his first host - so we both had to learn this game together. It was fine indeed. Our dogs and goats will miss him deeply, as will we- and he will always be welcome here in our now extended familiy.
