You will assist me on fixed days & hours in the classroom and school.
You need to take care of the school, your living space and kitchen area with respect as it was your own.
Ohh, one more thing......
We are looking for mature responsible people, not for children that we have to educate and teach how to behave!!!Languages spoken

You'll (share if you're together) have a big bedroom with 1 double bed and a bathroom, this the house where we conduct the classes on weekdays.
It has a basic kitchen and is situated just outside the busy town area where the monkeys still jump on the roof.
We don't provide food, but you can buy prepared or fresh food so you can cook yourself (There are shops just around the corner).
All points of interest are within 3-4 km.
There is a bicycle that you may use to go around the area,. *Not available at the moment, but there are scooters for rent everywhere!
There is a bus stop at the main road (100 metres) and don't forget the tuc-tucs you can hire from your doorstep; they are the low budget taxi service in Sri Lanka. What else ...
Around Galle there are several beaches and of course the famous Galle fort, most within bicycling distance.
As said above, There will be a bicycle that you can use to go around the area and the bus stops at the main road and don't forget the tuc-tucs you can hire; they are the low budget taxi service in Sri Lanka.
If you're looking for a place that is full with action and nightlife then this isn't the place for you, but if you respect other cultures, nature and a peaceful environment, we will be happy to have you helping us.
What we expect from you is to bring Western values, an excellent knowledge of the English language, both spoken as written and if you on top of that have any classroom/teaching experience it will be super.
As you will be working with children en students that are still wearing traditional uniforms and hairstyles we would like to ask you to keep this in mind towards you own appearance.A little more information

I stayed 3 weeks with Marga and Eranda in May/June 2019. Unfortunately I fall ill and the first thing Marga&Eranda did, was taking care of me - like a family-member.
I had a bad conscience because I wanted to be a help for them, and then they had to help me.
I was sooo lucky,… read more

I stayed with Marga three beautiful weeks of November. I assisted her in classes and helped a little in the household duties. As a young English teacher I learned a lot from her and got inspired by the way she conducts lessons. Moreover, I had a chance to meet the sweetest kids ever, eager to learn and to collaborate.
