This was my first workaway! I stayed with Damien for almost 2 weeks together with Florian and helped him with renovations on his boat. We did different things, but they included lots of sanding and painting, measuring and cutting wood and styrofoam. The work was fun and we had fixed working hours, which made it easy to plan activities besides

I have intolerances and he bought all sorts of food that I could eat as well. It was easy to talk to him and he always seems up for an adventure. He even took us to the theatre he was working at, which was really cool. I really enjoyed the experience of living on a boat and the view of the Seine! You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

Damned! Those guys were way beyond all I could expect from them! They are fully willing to help, fun, energetic, learning fast, patient (with me, call it a miracle ahah). I honestly asked them more than I should and I hope I gave them enough in return. Please don’t hesitate to open your door to those two, they are the perfect example of what this

We were 3 weeks in Paris working on the Roof of his Houseboat. Damien is a really nice guy who showed us how to weld and grind and everything else we needed for the work. The work was fun and fair. We got to know the French culture and had the new experience of living on a boat. He is very open-minded, and we had a good time in Paris.
Thank you
