Hey there! I'm Jo (short for Josephine). I'm 29, Chinese-American, and have been working as a video journalist for the last 6 years. I love a good story -- reading one, writing one, filming one -- and I think it's time I start living the next chapter of mine.
I love visiting new countries, but my travels so far have mostly been for school, work or vacation. So I'm here to find unique ways of immersing myself in other cultures, nature and ways of life.
Some things to know about me:
- I'm a huge foodie (I'll try just about anything, as long as it's not alive when I eat it!)
- Live music is the key to my heart (Folk, country, EDM, AfroBeats, etc.)
- Sunrise > sunset
- Fall is the best season, hands down
- I'm allergic to mosquito bites :(

I have a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's in journalism. I can help with anything video-related from editing to simple animation. I also have experience writing for online publications. I know Mandarin and French. And I'm happy to lend a hand in cooking, planning events, gardening... whatever is needed!
