    Description

Hi Workawayers, we are Marie-Paule and Paul, both in our 60s and 70s, and are looking for someone to help us with gardening!

We live in an old manor house (1840), with an English Garden and ecological vegetable garden, in the north of Belgium, close to the coast (about 10km) and nearby the old historical city center of Bruges (11km). We are both passionate about gardens, and work in the garden on a daily base. Paul - as a landscape architect - designed and built the garden himself, and since its construction in the 1980s, the garden has grown enormously, as has the tasks (while we are starting to shrink). So please come and join us this summer and have a nice stay in our house and learn something about gardening, botanics, organic maintenance or how to design a garden!

We produce all vegetables, fruits and herbs ecologically, to prepare the meals for the Workawayers and for our family. We have a big vegetable garden, green house, an orchard, and some animals like sheep and chickens. We can use all kinds of help, in the field, the garden and the house, depending the season and the weather. We provide accomodation, meals and drinks. We have one room available, with a double bed and a private bathroom. We offer breakfast, lunch and dinner during the time of your stay.
