    Description

We are Nina, Warren, Miles, and Felix; a polish British family living about an hour and a half from Krakow.

We have our own, 4 bedroom home in a street of eleven houses at the edge of a forest on the outskirts of Myszkow, in the south of Poland. We also have a small neglected shack/cottage on 2.5 acres of land in the very picturesque and historic village of Mirow, which is not far from here.

Life for us is about living. We spend a lot of time with friends and family, eating chatting learning, travelling and basically enjoying ourselves. When we aren't doing that we have a number of projects.

    1. The renovation (tidy up) of our cottage/shack. There is a small orchard of thirty plum trees and about twenty pine trees and a lot of grass. The house will need to be made secure, painted and fixed first, then the trees need sorting, the fence and the land. When all that is done it could be an Eco project of some sort of accommodation. Perhaps those wooden pods for guests. We don't really know. We are also keen on the idea of allowing artists/ writers to stay for free as a kind of retreat. But if you have a better idea then let us know.

    2. We teach a few English classes so may need assistance with that. Nothing heavy, just speaking English but if you have TEFL experience. that would be great.

    3. Nina is the founder of a local charity which looks after poor, disadvantaged or disabled children and adults. She often needs help organising different things for this.

Lastly, we could do with a hand in our house to get things organised and tidy. Since we moved here and had a new baby, we haven't had the chance to get everything set up. General cleaning, sorting, organizing DIY stuff may be needed too.

Polish hospitality is about food, more food then more food. The people here are incredibly welcoming and generous. During the long hot summers, we spend most of our time outdoors, either having barbecues in the garden or walking in the forest. You will be part of our family and also get the chance to visit the local countryside. We live also an hour or so away from Krakow, Katowice, Czestochowa and a couple of other interesting cities.

We will gladly take you to local visitor attractions and places of interest plus you can improve your Polish and/or English.
