    Description

I live alone in an independent house in the countryside in Val di Susa near Turin, Italy: the little town is called Rubiana and it's in the middle of the woods between Avigliana (a little town with two lakes and the iconic Sacra of San Michele) and the Colle del Lys (that unites Val di Susa and Val di Lanzo).
The place is not very far from Turin (30 km, around 1h with public transport) and the village I specifically stay in has few inhabitants but we all knows each others and the atmosphere is friendly.
I work as a cultural operator and I mostly work from home, but it often happens I have to go to Turin during my days.

There's a lot of history in my area: starting from the middle age (the Sacra di San Michele), the fortresses nearby in Alta Valle Susa (Exiless, etc) and a lot of memories of II WW and specifically of the Italian Resistance (a museum at the Colle del Lys and many other places in quite all the towns of the area).
Evidently, there's a lot of nature you can enjoy: a lot of path in the wood and some beautiful mountains you can explore and climb in; there are the lakes in Avigliana and some places in a little river in my village where you can bath (like the quite famous Goja del Pis) and practicing boulder.
Particularly in the summer, in the area there are some cultural events like concerts (the Avigliana Jazz Festival; the Alta Felicità Festival and others), art exposition and so on.

Furthermore, my place is near Turin, the main town of the region Piemonte: the city offers a lot of interesting attractions to visit or events to participate in.

Finally, staying in my house the travellers can obviously experience a language tandem: I speak italian, spanish, french and english - not all these languages at the same level but well enough to have a conversation.

I need help in gardening: I have a garden that is quite big even if not huge and there's always some work to keep it in order. There are also five fruit trees, some berries and a very little and neglected vegetable garden. So, according to the season the tasks may be cleaning the ground from the dry leaves, water the plants, remove weeds, pick up the fruits etc.

I also need some help around the house: mainly in cooking, keeping the kitchen tidy, in the grocery shopping (particularly in buying the fresh food quite daily) and also, during the winter, in the management of the fireplace (that is the main but not the only heating in the house).

I could need a little help in caring my animals: I have two cats (and a horse, who however stays in a horse-stable in a town nearby). They're not requiring a lot of care and I could need help with them only if I'd have to stay away from home more than a day.

    Accommodation

The Workawayer will have at his/her disposal a large mansard where there are 4 beds, a desk and the minimum furniture to place clothes and personal belongings, and there's also a bathroom with shower box.
The mansard receives a lot of sunlight and there are no blinds: if needed, there are eye masks available.
Furthermore, there's a desktop computer at the disposal of any guest.

It is possible that other people (friends of mine) stay for a few days: if necessary, I ask the kindness of sharing the mansard if there are free beds there at that moment.

Regarding the food, I'll ask the Workawayers to do the shops, defining a list of things to buy and a maximum budget with which he/she can also buy other kind of food he/she could prefer; there's a common kitchen available to use.
