My stay at Dylan's and Georgias place was sadly just 10 days, but it has been some really nice 10 days. There was very good communication between me and Georgia, which also translates to the work side. I worked most days around 5h usually starting around 9 or 10, so it fit me perfectly. I lived in the unfinished container tiny house, which was nice and quite and gives more than enough space for you self. And like they communicated on the profile you have to plan your own things you want to do there, so it's not like you are doing a lot together which worked very good for me. There still was a nice evening together with selfmade pizza and sauna.
Thanks for hosting me, I would definitely recommend :)
Staying with Georgia and Dylan at Raintree Lane twice was absolutely incredible. Their are an absolute gem, making you feel at home, like part of the family.
Working on the yoga retreats was great. Their are incredibly inspiring and supportive! Creating space for everyone to feel at home to express your full potential.
The house, spa, food (they

The beach isn’t too far and being able to walk there was great! A beautiful spot to meditate, swim, contemplate :)
The cats raisin and rue are also the absolute best!
If you don’t know the area and want to explore, Sechelt is a beautiful place with a lot to offer (from restaurants to hikes in the area, kayaking, even mountain biking if you do).
Overall, my time at Raintree Lane was fantastic. I highly highly recommend this Workaway experience. Being from France the incredible bonus was the fooood, Like I wrote earlier, they’re are chefs! They cook incredible bread, food, desserts and are so creative with it! I could feel the love/passion/dedication in your plate and that is a beautiful gift to share so Thank you you two!

We had a great week staying with Dylan and Georgia, at their incredible home in Sechelt. We helped them with the interior construction work in their new tiny home, which included a variety of jobs, giving us insight into different aspects of building a home. From waterproofing parts of the exterior, to sizing, cutting and installing walls and
… read more ceilings, to building a mural wall, every day was fun and different. We used a variety of power tools, and flexed our common sense (and maths) skills in ways our normal office jobs dont allow. We'd like to one day build our own home, so working on the build at that stage, and chatting to Georgia and Dylan about their structure choices and future plans, was really useful and inspiring.
We lived in the tiny house, which was very rewarding as each day we saw the progression we'd made. Also, hearing the rain pattering on the roof, and watching the stars from the window above the bed (sooo comfy), was very wholesome. But we could also come and go in Georgia and Dylans house, for meals and the bathroom etc - Georgia's bread is in equal parts beautiful and tasty. Both of them were so generous and kind, and gave us loads of great recommendations for the local area. The Sunshine Coast is gorgeous, and Sechelt (and nearby Gibsons) have plenty to keep you entertained (particularly if you have a car).
Thanks so much for hosting us, and we can't wait to keep up with the future of Raintree Lane! 🤍
Josh and Lucy were such a lovely workaway couple and experience for us! Extremely friendly and respectful, and fun to have around. We wished they could have stayed with us longer!
They helped with various carpentry tasks working on our tiny home, a creative wood mural, trims and finishings, installing ceilings, some waterproofing tasks. They also

We would recommend them to any host and welcome them back anytime.
Thank you both!!

I had a truly lovely experience staying with Georgia and Dylan!
They're both really laid-back and fun to be around! It felt like spending time with friends.
I learnt how to bake sourdough bread and could help clear out the garden. But my main focus was on trying to win over their cat Raisin, who is quite the character.
They also live near the

All in all, I had a great time with Georgia and Dylan and would absolutely love to go back and stay with them again at some point!🌻You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

Nathalie stayed with us for two weeks this summer and was so wonderful and helpful to have around.
Each work day she got on with her tasks with little direction and created magic in our garden.
We even had her help with some jobs on our tiny home build.
It was lovely to have her stay with us, share meals and experiences together!
We would host

I had an incredible experience staying with Georgia and Dylan at Raintree Lane for one month. Their home is absolutely wonderful, and I was fortunate to stay in a newly renovated room with my own bathroom, which made my stay very comfortable.
The food at Raintree Lane was a highlight of my visit. Every day, I enjoyed fantastic, homemade sourdough
… read more bread and super healthy homemade meals. The effort Georgia and Dylan put into preparing these meals was evident, and it was a treat to eat such delicious and nutritious food daily.
The work was engaging and rewarding. I worked alongside Georgia and her dad on their tiny home project. This wasn’t a Workaway with meaningless jobs; the tasks were interesting and fulfilling. I got to work with all sorts of power tools, including table saws, impact drivers, and chop saws. I arrived at the perfect time and got to see the project from its inception through to the completion of the first fixing and structural work. The days flew by in a relaxed atmosphere, and I felt truly involved in the process.
Adding to the charm of Raintree Lane is their lovely cat, Raisin. He was playful, friendly, and always managed to entertain us...
Sechelt, the area where Raintree Lane is located, is a beautiful place with plenty to offer. There are some really good restaurants and it's full of nature. There are opportunities to go kayaking, canoeing, and cycling. Many of the local pubs and restaurants host karaoke events and quizzes, so there’s always something to do in the evenings.
Overall, my time at Raintree Lane was fantastic. Georgia and Dylan are amazing hosts who made me feel welcome and part of their family. I highly recommend this Workaway experience to anyone looking for a fulfilling and enjoyable stay.Left by host for Workawayer (Oliver)
Ollie just left our place after 4 weeks working on our Tiny Home project and we miss him already!
He was enthusiatic about our project and was so knowledgable about machinery, carpentry, and lots of other things.
Ollie is wonderful to have around, very social and respectful. We are looking forward to his return to Canada.
