Description

We are a couple in our late twenties who are travelling to Canada to try and see and experience as much as we can, and are eager to meet new people along the way! We have been together for 6 years, and originally met and worked together for many seasons at an outdoor centre in the UK. We love being outside and aren’t afraid to get stuck in with a whole range of tasks, happy working outdoors. We are both handy with a drill, and Finn has experience in farming and mountaineering, Meg loves animals and is happy with any kind of manual labour tasks.

Finn has general maintenance skills, as well as fencing, livestock handling, chainsaw use and some building skills. Meg has general maintenance and DIY skills. We are both comfortable working with various power tools, and have experience using small (Meg) and large (Finn) farm vehicles such as Tractors and ATVs. Previous workaways have given us experience in working with farm animals such as sheep, rabbits and chickens, as well general groundswork, logging, and DIY, and we are always eager to learn new things and develop our skills! We are also both first aid trained, with focus on outdoor scenarios.

What else ...

We love spending our time doing activities outside, but for cosy evenings in we are always up for a board game or two, (Catan is a favourite!) and we are looking forward to meeting new people to share our interests with and also expand our horizons.
