    Description

Hi! I'm Azam from Malaysia, and I'm currently running a sustainable fish farming project using a Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS). This eco-friendly system helps us raise fish efficiently while conserving water and reducing environmental impact. The project is still growing, and I welcome creative, hands-on people to join and learn along the way!

I life with my parents, one younger brother and two younger sisters. We’re located in a peaceful rural area surrounded by greenery and traditional Malaysian village life but still within reach of town. It’s a quiet, refreshing place with a strong connection to nature.

You’ll get the chance to participate in hands-on fish farming activities, including daily feeding, water quality monitoring, system maintenance, and helping. No experience is required! Just a willingness to learn and get involved!

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

You’ll get to experience authentic Malaysian village life, try local home-cooked food, and join in casual chats or meals with me, my family, or friends. If you're interested, I can also show you around local markets, food stalls, or nearby cultural spots.

I’m happy to share what I know about aquaculture, sustainable farming, Malaysian customs, language, and daily life. I also love hearing about other cultures, ideas, and experiences. So feel free to share your background, traditions, or even cook a dish from your country!

    Help

You’ll help with daily tasks on my fish farm like feeding tilapia, checking water quality, cleaning tanks, and simple maintenance of the RAS system. It’s mostly hands-on work, and I’ll guide you through everything.

During weekends I also help out at a friend’s sustainable farm nearby. He runs a mix of fish farming, aquaponics, and other eco-projects and you’re welcome to join if you’d like to learn more or lend a hand there too. We usually work together, share ideas, and learn from each other.
