 - Description- We’re a creative German/English family moving to Greece, our daughters are 9 and 6 and have had amazing workaway exchanges and formed lasting friendships. We are looking for people who would like to stay and enjoy meals and live and work together, we bought a very old house in Crete and are doing everything ourselves so there is a lot of different things happening all at once like woodworking/cleaning/cooking and we'd love to share this experience.. 
 The beach is 15 minutes away and its a very peace full village 45 minutes from Chania airport.

 - Accommodation- You will stay in your own room with a shared bathroom. The house is in a small village called Pemonia at the edge of the white mountains close to Kalives. There is a bus from the next village (20 min walk away). 
 - What else ...- We are looking for open communication, people who love to be active, work with their hands, swim, love kids and nature and are happy to be part of our journey of creating a beautifull home here. There is a bus that takes you to Chania and Rethymno and we are happy to also do some excursions together. We enjoy having a group of people from different backgrounds around and a lot of the time there is 4-6 workawayers with us which has been great fun.

My days went like this, I would wake up around 7.30 and eat breakfast, then begin work at around 8, which consisted of sanding wooden beams, removing paint from a set of stairs and building a natural staircase in the back garden.
