Description
I live on the pilgrims path to Ireland's holy mountain Croagh Patrick from which Saint Patrick is said to have banished all snakes from Ireland. I bought my cottage in 2017 which is on 2.5 acres on the banks of the river Aile.
A lot of work has now been done on the property but I still have lots of plans for landscaping outside to create paths and outdoor space to carry out my shamanic work and ceremonies.
During your stay you can learn about how turf is cut annually in early spring prepared gathered up and stored for the coming winter.
As a shamanic practitioner i can teach you about ancestral journeying. This may take place around a ceremonial fire in my 2.acre field or in house. You can also help harvest healing plants and learn how to make medicinal tinctures.
The tasks will always be tailored to your ability and strength. Safety always being paramount.
I live alone with two lively dogs cat and two donkeys.
Your accommodation will be a 2 berth caravan near to my house where you can use the bathroom facilities for showers etc.
I eat a mostly vegan/vegetarian food.

He is very charming, caring and never pushing you towards anything.
At the beginning of my stay we had a walk around his property and made a list of all to-do's which would be great to be accomplished. Even though it rained a lot and outdoor work was limited then, Paul… read more

I picked herb berries, and did some cleaning, but what I valued most were the times we shared making music together and talking about our values.
Thank you for taking me to Irish pubs, museums, and historical places.
I’m also so glad I got to meet the energetic Toby, Sky and the donkeys!
I’m really happy I could stay… read more
Kind and caring, but never intrusive, I felt taken care of.
We had a lot of pleasant conversations about life, we played music together, we went to trad sessions, to the beach and to some spiritual stone circles nearby.
I definitely recommend spending a week with him: you'll walk… read more

The work was just the right amount, varied and mostly good fun (chopping wood, collecting turf, some plastering, painting and screwing and so forth). I feel like I improved some skills around DIY and definetively got inspired by Paul's attitude towards learning and getting things done.
