Description
We have an opening for a two WorkAway partners (ideally a couple) for taking care of our farm during July and August. Arrival mid June will be ideal for training and getting to know each other.
Skills Needed:
- Handy (basically if you can convert your van for your roadtrip, you can figure put how to fix anything). Or work experience in carpentry, plumbing, building will be helpful.
- Prior gardening experience ( lawn care and understanding of irrigation system)
- Genuine love for farm animals

We are a Franco Taiwanese family who have moved from California to settle in the Algave with our two daughters. We fell in love instantly with the medival town of Silves and were lucky to have found an oasis very close to town. In our 6 hectare land, we began growing fruit trees, ornamental trees and various gardens. We’ve installed fun projects like a zipline, volleyball court and our new addition is a bocce ball court. We started raising sheep, ducks, bunnies and chickens. With two friendly and playful Brittany Spaniels, life is never dull. Our newest additions are two miniature pigs!
