    Description

Last-minute and urgent: we’re looking for support from now until May 20—any help would make a big difference. 🙏

    🤝 Contribution & Exchange
    We offer different volunteering options:
    - 5h/day + 1.5h weekend → accommodation + food included
    - 3–4h/day + 1.5h weekend → accommodation included

A core part of this place is shared responsibility, so everyone contributes to:
    - Cooking & cleaning (at least 1 cleaning shift per week)
    - We all support caring for Enki (4 years old), the son of Michi and Karen, so this will also be part of your stay
    - Gardening, maintenance, building, and daily tasks
    - Community organization
    - Creative projects (beautifying the place)

Volunteers are only asked to contribute to community-based projects, and no help is expected or requested in relation to paying guests or the maintenance of spaces used by them. This boundary is important to ensure fairness and clarity for everyone involved. Additionally, anyone on-site is always encouraged to speak up at any time if they feel they are being asked to do something that doesn’t align with this agreement or with how they wish things to be. Open communication is welcomed and respected in all circumstances.

This is part of daily life here — please only come if you feel genuinely open to this.

    🌿 Who we are
We are Michi, Karen, Enki, Bas & Nic, Mattis and Durjoy — a small, evolving community on a 50-hectare almond farm in southern Spain. Our community is open and welcoming, including LGBTQ+ individuals — Bas and Nic are a gay couple, and we strive to make this a safe, inclusive, and respectful space for everyone. Michi and Karen are Enki’s parents, though they are not a couple. We live together as a community, sharing responsibilities, including caring for Enki.

For over 3 years, we’ve been creating a space that connects:
    - Nature 🌱
    - People 💛
    - Conscious community living

Life here is real, dynamic, sometimes challenging — and deeply rewarding.

    🌱 Our Values

    - Open & honest communication (Everything can be said here. Joy, doubts, anger, sadness — everything has space. We believe everything becomes solvable when we stay in contact.)
    - Responsibility & co-creation (not consumption)
    - Vegan, healthy shared meals
    - Yoga, check-ins & sharing circles
    - Connection to nature & sustainability
    - Depth, authenticity, and also joy

🔧 What Life Here could Looks Like:

    - Daily tasks: gardening, building, cooking, cleaning, creative tasks.
    - Yoga (flexible, depending on group & season)
    - Weekly sharing circles
    - Nature time, fires, music, spontaneous moments

It always depends on the group how the week can look like. We try to give a structure, and at the same time encourage you to be part of community life and of what we create together outside our tasks.

Alongside us, there are also colivers. Most stay for a minimum of one month (as the experience it needs time to arrive in a very differen setting then you may be used to), others for several months and become a temporary part of our community.

Having said that we are still in the beginning of our community and having therefore still challenges to face, we are not perfect but we are trying to expand and learn to get every day a little bit closer to how we want to live.

🚫 Not the Right Place If You’re…

    - Looking for a retreat during a personal crisis
    - Not ready to actively contribute
    - Expecting a “holiday-style” community
    - Wanting others to carry your process
    - Feeling unclear about your direction in life

    🌱 Long-Term Living
We are open to long-term connections — but:
    - Minimum 6 months commitment
    - Built on trust, shared experience, and real integration over time

    👉 Real community takes time.

We’re not looking for someone who assumes after two weeks that they’ll be "moving in" or can immediately build their own space. It’s about honestly and authentically getting to know each other in everyday life, with all its highs and lows. Seeing how we truly live and work together. How we handle conflicts, grow together, and build a stable, reliable coexistence. Long-term steps and plans arise here from genuine relationships, shared experiences, and trust that grows over months.

We’re especially looking for people who:
    - Know what they want in life
    - Bring skills & initiative
    - Take responsibility for themselves
    - Feel aligned with conscious community living

    💛 Final Words
This is not a perfect place — it’s a real one. After three years it is normal that not everything is set and we all are still growing, learning, and building something meaningful together.

If this resonates with you, we’d love to hear from you 🌿✨
