Part de la comunitat marxa de vacances i la nostra petita comunitat estarà a mínims, sempre hi haurà una o dues persones a casa però tenen altres responsabilitats i poden necessitar ajudar amb els animals i els regs. Per això agafarem 2 o3 voluntaris.

¡Hola a todas!
Somos una associacion y granja situada en una antigua masia restaurada. Tenemos huerta , olivos, almendros, vacas lecheras, gallinas...
Adrià empezó a vivir aquí hace 10 años:
"Estudié biología y siempre me preocupé por los ecosistemas silvestres y la conservación de la biodiversidad. Durante algunos años participé como voluntario en diversos estudios biológicos por todo el mundo, pero luego me di cuenta de que, dado que la industria alimentaria y el capitalismo son la principal causa de la mayoría de los problemas ambientales realmente preocupantes, la única batalla era contra ellos.
Así que recordé que mi familia tenía una vieja granja de mis abuelos que nadie usaba y quise recuperarla. Estudié un máster en agricultura orgánica y también un curso introductorio a la permacultura.
Aquí estamos ahora, en una casa grande y antigua, de 8 hectáreas y con los animales: 7 vacas y 80 gallinas
En el inicio vimos necesario entrevistar a antiguos agricultores para guardar y mantener semillas tradicionales. Así que creamos un banco de semillas para preservarlas. Aquí tenemos más de 200 semillas guardadas."
En la casa viven Adrià y Sandra con su bebé Jonça Irati... Tambien viven Carolina y otras personas segun el momento. Convivimos con 2 perras y dos gatas.
Las tareas habituales son:
- Limpieza
- Cocinar
- Desbroze
- Leña
- Compost
- Semillas
- Huerta de casa
- Cuidado de los animales
- Mover las vallas amenudo para que las vacas tengan mejor calidad de vida ( acceso a hierba fresca amenudo)
Sobre la convivencia:
En verano empezamos temprano (6:00) porque el sol es fuerte al mediodia. Pero nos pondremos de acuerdo en la hora cuando ya estéis aquí instaladas. El trabajo es de 5 dias a la semana, unas 5 horas al día para las voluntarias.
Compartiréis una habitación común. Cada día cocina 1 persona para todo el grupo. Tomamos el desayuno y la comida conjuntamente, pero las cenas son libres. Los martes y los viernes las otras 3 personas que trabajan en la cooperativa están invitadas a comer con nosotras.
Casi siempre la comida que ofrecemos aquí es vegetariana pero si alguien quieres comer carne puede hacerlo por su cuenta.
Nos repartimos la limpieza de casa entre las personas que vivimos en cada momento: cocina, exterior, baño, baño seco o alguna zona específica... No se puede fumar en esta finca, para hacerlo hay que salir de la finca y las colillas se autogestionan (no se pueden quedar en la casa).
El agua es un bien que hay que cuidar, no la malgastes.
La lavadora solamente se pone si hay sol ya que funciona con las placas solares.
Tenemos muchas ganas de que vengáis ya que nos gusta vivir en comunidad.

Hello everyone!
We are a worker cooperative located in an old, restored farmhouse. We produce a variety of organically produced foods for our local community: vegetables, eggs, bread, and dairy products (yogurt, butter, ice cream, cheese, etc.).
Adrià Solé started the project 11 years ago and now assumes the role of project manager. This is his story:
I studied biology and always cared about wild ecosystems and biodiversity conservation. For a few years, I volunteered in various biological studies around the world, but then I realized that, since the food industry and capitalism are the main cause of most of the truly worrying environmental problems, the only battle was against them.
So, I remembered that my family had an old farm belonging to my grandparents that no one used, and I wanted to restore it. I studied a master's degree in organic agriculture and also an introductory course in permaculture.
Here we are now, in a large, old house, 8 hectares, with the animals: 7 cows and 80 chickens.
In the beginning we felt it was necessary to interview former farmers to save and maintain traditional seeds. So we created a seed bank to preserve them. We have more than 200 seeds saved here.
Right now Adrià and Sandra live in the house with their baby Jonça Irati. Also Karolina and sometimes other people live in the house. We live with 2 dogs and two cats.
The usual tasks are:

- Moving fences so the cows have fresh grass every day
About living together:
In the summer, we start early (6:00) because the sun is strong at noon. But we will agree on a time once you are settled in. The work is 5 days a week, about 5 hours a day for the volunteers.
You will share a shared room. Each day, one person cooks for the entire group. We eat breakfast and lunch together, but dinner is free. On Tuesdays and Fridays, the other three people who work at the cooperative are invited to eat with us.
The food we serve here is almost always vegetarian, but if someone wants to eat meat, they can do so on their own.
We share the house cleaning duties among the people who live there at any given time: kitchen, outside, bathroom, toilet, or any specific area. Smoking is not allowed on this property; to do so, you must leave the property, and cigarette butts are disposed of by yourself (they cannot be left in the house).
Water is a resource that must be cared for; don't waste it.
The washing machine is only used when there is sun, as it runs on solar panels.
We really want you to come, as we love living as a community.

we can give tips on where to go on free days, also show you the local food scenery.. (local farmers markets etc. )

We expect from volunteers to help in the usual domestic tasks ( sharing the cooking, washing dishes or some other usual tasks)
In summer we use to wake up really early to avoid the the hottest hours

We are 60 km away from BCN, 5 km from Igualada.
Volunteers sometimes rent a car and go on camping trips together in the weekends, or hang out in the hammocks. there will be activities in Igualada and nearby villages also, since this is usual for the summer season.
