    Description

    We are a family of 4 living on 45 acres on the scenic north west coast of Tasmania with mountain and sea views. We are passionate about organic, biodynamic farming and self sufficiency, growing all our own meat, vegetables and fruit. We also homeschool our 8 year old son as well as a 9 month old baby girl. I am working part time therefore need help with child minding and gardening.

    You will have your own private space in our farm cottage. We are happy to share our knowledge about biodynamics, organic gardening, self sufficiency including preserving, making kimchi and sauerkraut, making cheese, cream, yogurt, butter. We also have a vast amount of knowledge on herbalism and natural/ holistic health care and wellbeing that we are willing to share with anyone interested. Our recreational time includes horse riding, camping, fishing and bushwalking, we would love for you to join us in these activities if you would like to experience some of Tasmania’s natural wonders.

    We have a lovely little baby girl and are therefore looking for help child minding and maintaining our veggie garden. Tasks that we need help with include the following; weeding, pruning, planting, making compost and biodynamic preparations, as well as harvesting and preserving.

    Farm Cottage with own bathroom, queen size bed.
    Couch, 2 person table and chairs, fridge, fully equiped kitchen.

    No vegan meals catered for as we grow all our own food and try to limit what we buy, therefore rely on meat for protein and balancing meals.

    We are centrally located for anyone keen in outdoor adventures of all descriptions. There is very little public transport so you either need your own transport or happy for us to take you to town for any supplies that may be need and we can take you on adventures around our beautiful state.
