Hello! My name is Wes and I'm 28 years old. I'm from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. I love to be active and outdoors. I enjoy biking, hiking, soccer, and yoga. When I'm not exercising, I like to read, play chess, and listen to music. I've been studying Spanish for 2 years. I've always wanted to travel long term and now I'm taking this time in my life to live out that dream. I've been learning Spanish through various in person and online classes for 2 years. I am almost an intermediate speaker. I'm interested and motivated in furthering my Spanish comprehension. I am a native English speaker. I've never taught English as a second language before, but I would be happy to converse and assist in any way possible.

I was a cook in restaurants for 6 years while studying in high school and college. I'm able to efficiently prep and cook meals, and I also have some experience canning and preserving food. I love being around animals and have experience taking care of cats, dogs, cows, pigs, and chickens. I've helped to till, plant, weed, and harvest gardens with my mother and grandmother most of my life. I've kept a garden of my own at times, but unfortunately my current house doesn't have space for a garden. I have some amateur experience with power tools, building dry stone walls, and using a cement mixer. I am eager and willing to learn more skills.
