My family has helped me acquire this property, so that I may follow my dream in creating a solid community and livelihood, amidst this great community of Roberts Creek, that I know is now my home. I am a health professional and musician. I have travelled, adventured, and climbed and hiked lots around the world. My life, was redirected by an incident that left me a little less invincible than I used to be, but it also directed me to what my heart called for... a home, community , and friends full of love, accepting each other as we are, and not having to do anything differently... a chosen family!

Roberts Creek is a small community, full of artists, musicians, organic farms, and the love of life. Experience this friendly community as a local. The beaches and coast line are plenty and a stone's throw away. Hiking and biking trails are a popular destination for many. Kayaking and paddle boarding, music activities, dances and live music shows are available nearby. As I am learning about sustainable living and managing a larger rural property, you are welcome to learn with me, or to share your knowledge with me. I am also a musician, and I have a room full of instruments to play and jam with.
We are also located on Squamish Nation Land, and there is opportunity to connect and learn about the native people to this area.
I live on a half acre property on the Sunshine Coast, near the town of Roberts Creek. I am creating a sustainable cabin as a wellness cabin, to provide space for rehabilitation gym, yoga and other healing arts. I am researching compost toilets. grey water, and rain barrels. The cabin structure is built and we are in the stage of designing the layout and decor. There is work to be done on the cabin, and on the property (yard work, small repairs, staining/painting, and also designing the outdoor covered space of the tiny home, with a propane stove, BBQ, fiepit and covered area)
The tiny home (150 square feet) is available to a single person or a couple. It has a shower, toilet, double bed, fridge, hot plate, and toaster oven, as well as shelving and a dresser. It has internet access and is at the top of the property with lots of sunlight and a view of the greenery on the property.
There is also a loft sleeping in the cabin, which can accomodate one to two people. This space has a compost toilet, and fridge, shelving, hot plate, and water container and hot water kettle. This area is still being developped. The shower, laundry, and larger cooking facilities would be in the main house until a few more hours go into the cabin.
The main house offers a large outdoor covered deck with BBQ and seating and a firebowl. There is a large fire pit on the upper property, and there is access to an infrared sauna and an exercise and music space. I like to ask for 4 days a week- 5 hour days, so that there is time for you to explore the area as well. I am flexible on days being worked, if you want to do a trip of more than a few days. The house is a 5 minute walk from the beach, is on the bus line, and is a 15 minute walk (5 minute bike) to the small historic town center. This is a highly sought after tourist area.
There are two bikes at your disposal, and sometimes there is a car available for your use.

Time off includes hiking or walking on the beach or in the forest, biking, swimming, kayaking or paddle boarding in the ocean, playing music, exploring the farmer markets, taking in live music and festivals, mushroom picking, fishing, bird watching.......
I am an easy-going musician and health professional. Acquiring this property is a dream of mind, and sharing it with like-minded people, or being introduced to new ideas, is my goal. My future plans for the property, are to help ease lodging shortage on the Sunshine Coast, create healthy and sustainable living accommodations, create a healing space for my own livelyhood (to empower people to learn how to take care of their own bodies), to create a music space for music collaboration and experimentation, and in the future, to have space to allow foster kids from the city to experience and appreciate living near the land and water, in a loving community. I am hoping to allow the opportunity to explore and be inspired by nature and music, to experience good foundations that may help lead to a fulfilled life.
