    Description

My husband and myself have 4 kids (4, 2, 8 month old twins). We are homesteaders, primarily raising beef. We also have milk cows and goats, chickens, and lots of dogs. We grow all of our own food. We try to eat the most nutrient dense food consisting of red meat, organs, eggs, raw dairy, fruit, and raw honey. We try to live as toxin free as possible. Currently building ourselves a natural log cabin to call home. We love spending as much time as we can outside. Our community is quite small and we find ourselves to stay home pretty much full time. We have a beautiful river running through our property with a wood fired sauna and hot tub. The lakes in our town are stunning. Tons to explore in the area and a lot of wildlife running around.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We have a lot of homesteading knowledge that I would love to share. We have been growing almost all of our own food for the past 3 years. Making life simple again. My husband is an avid hunter.

  • Help

    Help

I would love some help following me around with the kids. Homeschooling, homesteading. I make all of our own cheese - almost everyday in peak production. Milking cows and goats, rotationally grazing our cattle, goats and chickens. Getting exercise, eating good simple food, in the sun, attempting to keep the house tidy haha. Tasks done as a team is 5x as fast with kids I swear!

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

Own private room will be offered at least. Really depends when you are coming, we are in the middle of a cabin build, which we will be moving into. Currently living in a full 3 bed house. So there is an option to live in our home, or this 3 bed house. Or perhaps even a nicely set up wall tent.
We are quite strict with what we eat - we only eat red meat we grow or harvest, eggs, raw dairy, homegrown fruit, raw honey/maple syrup
