  • Description

    Description

We are Richard and Jolanda - we live in Takaka, Golden Bay. We have a house and large garden and live a stones throw from the main shops and cafes. We are also about ten minutes walk from the Takaka river.

Takaka is a wonderful small and friendly community. There is a diverse population of travellers, retired people, farmers and business people. Its kind of the unofficial yoga centre of New Zealand - we have many people practicing alternative lifestyles here.

Jolanda is Dutch and a qualified yoga/ayurveda teacher and also an accomplished artist. Richard is a Kiwi and currently has his own business working as a web designer. We both love meeting people and sharing stories and experiences. We have yoga mats and invite you to join us in yoga sessions led by Jolanda - mainly hatha, yin and yoga nidra. Richard can pass on practical skills in the house and garden -painting, carpentry and DIY. We love Golden Bay and look forward to telling you about the area and its many attractions and nature spots.
