    Description

    Hi, I am a mother of 4 grown children. I love the company of people of all ages and learning about new cultures and points of view.

    I am looking for help to help transform our home outside!

    And in return we can offer you a large comfy bed in our beautiful beach house, in an amazing location between two pristine beaches. Portsea and the wider region of the Mornington Peninsula have incredible places to explore.

    Projects we are looking to start on:.
    Setting up the garden sprinkler system;
    Mowing lawns;
    General weeding, mulching and gardening;
    General cleaning;
    Building a shed;
    Teaching me about permaculture;
    Sewing with an overlocker;
    There is always something to do!!

    I am very hard working and hands-on and I expect honesty, and an attitude of enthusiasm and willingness from others to get in and work hard too. Work hard; play fairly and live life to the fullest.

    There are a wide range of jobs so send a message and offer us what skills you have or what you are willing to learn how to do.

    Couples are encouraged to apply.
    I don’t need anyone during the hot summer months because it’s too hot to work outside and my family and friends are staying ..

    Cheers, Nicole

    What else ...

    There are plenty of beautiful coastal walks in many directions: even a Sorrento-Portsea Artists Trail, where local and international artists have captured some of the local coastal views.

    There are a variety of local pubs to sit and watch the boats come and go.

    Sorrento village is nearby (bus, bike ride, walk) which has a range of quaint heritage boutiques: you can wander the limestone shopfronts or even get a huge famous vanilla custard slice. Throughout the year there are open air markets, art galleries, festivals, fun carnivals and activities of all sorts; never a dull moment.

    Close by History:
    The Nepean Historical Museum and Pioneer Cottage
    Point Nepean and Collins Settlement Historic Site where World War 1 and 2 are supposed to have officially started with the first firing of a cannon.

    Seaside escape:
    Sun bake at the calm bay beach or body surf at the wild back beach.
    Go on a seal and dolphin swimming adventures, fishing trip or bay cruise or take the plunge on a scuba diving expedition.

    There are a variety of local beaches to visit in Portsea, Sorrento, Blairgowrie, and Rye.

    And the Peninsula Springs!
