    Description

We are a small hostel on the Caribbean side of Costa Rica, near beautiful beaches and surrounded by jungle and wildlife. We run it with a lot of love and a family vibe. Our goal is to create a place where guests can feel at home, even if it’s just for a few nights.
We’re looking for a friendly volunteer to help with some reception hours, welcoming guests, answering questions, and assisting travelers during their stay. Interacting with people from all over the world is a big part of the experience here and can be a lot of fun.
The role also includes helping us keep the hostel running smoothly day-to-day. This means turning over rooms between guests, doing light cleaning in common areas, and helping maintain a tidy and welcoming environment between the visits of our cleaning lady. Because the work involves preparing rooms and helping guests during their stay, reliability and a sense of responsibility are very important to us.
Occasionally there may be small practical tasks around the property or simple garden upkeep, but nothing too heavy. Mostly we appreciate someone who is organized, responsible, and happy to help wherever needed.
We have a cat who loves cuddles and will definitely appreciate your company.
We’re always happy to hear volunteers’ ideas and are open to help with small projects that come up, always with a smile and positive spirit.
Volunteers should be able to communicate in English and Spanish.

It boasts beautiful clear-water beaches, a vibrant Afro-Caribbean culture, and is close to several national parks where you can experience the region’s incredible biodiversity. The area also offers a variety of activities such as surfing, snorkeling, and hiking, making it perfect for adventure lovers.
