    Description

    We are a Ayurveda and Yoga Hotel in Northern Germany nearby Lüneburg. Many people come to us who want to get out of their busy everyday life and want to practice Yoga and Ayurveda, learn more about Ayurveda philosophy and the Yoga culture. We are situated in the north of germany, in the Lüneburger Heide, from where you can easily go to Berlin, Hamburg and Hannover.

    These are our requirements:
    - You have already worked in a hotel or restaurant.
    - You can speak German at a good level.
    - You are a resident of the EU or you have a work visa with you.

    We register you officially as an employee. We pay the minimum wage (12 Euro / h), taxes and health insurance will be deducted from it.

    We offer you accommodation in a shared room free of charge.

    For all of you who want to eat the meals together with us, we offer a package which is 10,- Euros / day for meals, drinks, German lessons and bicycle use. This is not mandatory, you can of course also buy your food in the next supermarket and cater for yourself.

    We plan with a minimum stay of four months.

    Depending on your experience, we will employ you for example in the restaurant as a waiter / waitress, in the kitchen or in the housekeeping. Please write us exactly what kind of experience you already have.

    Lots of tasty dishes are cook healthy, we love to be inspired by our workawayers, who often know the specialities of their native country. Cooking together is part of our community and we love to have a great meal made together.

    Besides, some of our workawayers decided to stay in Germany and have found a permanent job with us. Others come to visit us from time to time…

    Our focus is cultural exchange. In addition to the experiences that you will make in the many different Workawayer tasks, you can learn a lot: German language lessons, Yoga lessons, sometimes making music together at the fireplace and the different work in our hotel and restaurant.

    If you need a Certificate for your stay (sometimes important for your CV or for school/university), we can talk about the special aspects you want to get to know.

    We are looking for people who want to live and work with us for a while.
    For a paid internship it is a minimum requirement that you have previous experience working in a hotel or restaurant.

    The following activities are provided for our Workawayers:
    - Outdoor work and gardening like taking care of the plants in our farm garden.
    - Harvesting apples, as we cultivate old sorts of apple trees
    - We bake our own bread and cook our own marmelade for our own needs.
    - Prepare highlights like our weekly campfire with mulled wine and Guitar music.
    - Cook delicous meals in our kitchen
    - make friendly service for the guests in our restaurant
    - work in our housekeeping and clean our hotel rooms
