Description
Hello everyone,
I am Tom (46) from Germany, I live there in a community, At the moment I live the most time in Slovenia to work on my farm and spend time with my local friends, or travelling to festivals. I am a Reggae/Dub DJ, too.
I am a very open and communicative person. I get on well with everyone and I'm always happy to meet new people.
After many years of travelling with my bus, I decided to look for a base in Slovenia near the Soča river. Last year this dream came true. I was able to buy a farm with land in a small village a bit outside.
The farm is older, but it's easy to live in, everything is very simple. That's the way I like it.
Its easier, when you are mobile, with a car or motorbike, or you are in a good condition. So you are free and dont need me as a taxi driver 😁
A trainstation is near, I can pick you up, of course.
There's always something to do. Tidying the garden or renovating a bit. I would be happy to have some nice support.

The farm is in a small village where only locals live.
So you get to know the life and hospitality of the Slovenes living here.
Here you can immerse yourself in the simple lifestyle of a small farm in Slovenia. -
Help
I occasionally need help in the garden, trees and bushes, mowing the lawn, harvesting fruit. I also need help with renovation tasks, such as painting walls, sanding and painting windows, perhaps also remodelling.
You don't need any special skills for the work.
There is a lot of stuff in the house that needs to come out and be disposed of, I could use help there too.
There are no fixed times , we do everything in a very relaxed way, you have a lot of free time. -

Accommodation
I like open minded, communicative people. We live together during the stay, like in a community, we share the kitchen and the bathroom with a shower.
You can sleep in your own room with a large bed or a smaller room. Or we find a flat space for your tent. There is also space for a van.
We can go shopping and cook together, or you can cater for yourself. We can decide spontaneously. Catering is included on days you help out. -

The next railway station is in Most na Soci.
The house is a little out of the way in a small village. To be mobile yourself, a car is not bad. However, we can arrange to travel together.
The Soca Valley is a wonderfull natural paradise.
You can go hiking, climbing or mountain biking here, go swimming in the rivers, or there are also rafting tours. -
