  Description

  I’m based on the Sunshine Coast, just a few minutes drive from some of Australia’s best beaches. I’ve got a few small DIY projects around the house and I’m looking for someone handy—or simply keen to get involved and lend a hand.
  
  Most of the help is pretty light: general tidying, small maintenance jobs and the occasional project such as surfboard repairs or helping me get something finished around the house.
  
  I spend a lot of time working online and have a growing social media channel focused on outdoor education and student travel. I’d especially enjoy having someone around who likes bouncing ideas around. If you have experience with social media, content creation or marketing, even better—but it’s definitely not essential.
  
  I live a pretty active, outdoorsy lifestyle, and you’ll have plenty of free time to do your own thing and explore the Sunshine Coast—beaches, surfing, national parks, waterfalls, markets and everything else the area has to offer.
  
  I ask for around 20 hours of help per week. I prefer keeping this flexible rather than having a rigid daily schedule, so we can work out something that gives you plenty of full days to explore.
  
  Accommodation and normal household food are included. I eat a mixed diet including meat, and you’re welcome to share what I normally have available. If you have specific dietary preferences or require specialty foods, substitutes or supplements, you’ll need to purchase those yourself. Please let me know about any dietary requirements before arranging your stay.
  
  My teenage kids are sometimes around, so it’s important that you’re respectful and comfortable being in a family environment when they visit.
  
  This setup will suit someone independent, practical and easygoing who doesn’t need to be entertained or managed—someone looking for a great base on the Sunshine Coast, plenty of independence and a fair exchange while helping me knock over a few projects.

  Travellers can learn to surf in my area and also enjoy all the outdoor recreation that is close by with many hiking trails, mountain biking and amazing beaches. I'm also a highly experienced expedition leader and take school groups on overseas expeditions for up to a month at a time so i could pass on large group leadership and management skills.

  Help

  I’ll be on the road with my business, I go to schools and teach archery. It will also be a bit of a holiday as I’ll be travelling to some great surfing and hiking locations. I’ll need an offsider to help with the social media side out of it, I try to get a lot of content for my social channels. If you have a working with children check for NSW that would be perfect.

  You’ll have your own camper trailer with a bed power and camping toilet but you can also use the main residence. Where i live is a bit unconventional but comfortable with a camping shower and toilet so if your used to camping or van life its perfect for you.
