Welcome to my profile 🌞

I'll keep it sweet and short.

I have a bunch of Workaway experience! I have been doing projects all over the world since 2021. I've been travelling to all kinds of countries by backpack, van or 4x4 car.

You can see my skills below, that I gained from either working as a doctor's assistant back home or from volunteering over the years.

I am a very active and adventurous person. I love hiking, weightlifting, mountain biking, climbing, etc. But I also don't mind to slow down and do more calming things like drawing, reading, collecting rocks, chilling by a campfire, gardening, etc.

My dream is to build or renovate a wooden cabin in a forest, by a lake with tall mountains close by, preferably in Norway.

My other dream I'm currently living ❤️🧭🌎

- I am a doctors assistant. I can take blood, do lab work, treat wounds, do infusions, take XR's, etc.
- I am a certified vegan nutrition coach -> www.gainsgrains.com
- Helped converting 2 vans into fully self-sufficient/off-grid camper vans (little experience in plumbing, electricity, etc.)
- Can work with power tools like table saw, drill, etc.
- I helped building a small wooden cabin
- Experience in gardening/permaculture
- I can teach English and German
- I spent 1 month on a chicken sanctuary
- I spent 5 months on an off-grid, boat access homestead doing all kinds of work like building a greenhouse, chopping wood, installing solar panels, gardening, etc.
- I helped 1 month at a farm animal sanctuary (feeding animals, cleaning enclosures, etc.)
- I can drive motor boats
- I can drive quads (ATV or UTV)

Michelle was nice to host as my first Workawayer and gave me some good advice about Workaway. Hanging out exercising and surfing wa fun and she was very keen to learn how to surf, she helped me a lot with tasks around my place which made a big difference.

I had the pleasure of being Mahu's first workawayer!

He lives just a 30 minute walk from great beaches. He took me surfing, snorkeling, hiking and I joined his run club.

The work is pretty light, like he mentioned in his profile. I helped tidying, cleaning, filming content and prepping things to ship for his business.

I spent 6 weeks at the sanctuary. Six wonderful weeks I'll never forget.

I was supposed to spent 10 days at their farm and I stayed almost 1 month. I think that says a lot about the project. Jodie, Andrew and Ella are wonderful people to be around and to spent time with. I've met Lou and Roy in 2022. They had the best rated Workaway project on Salt Spring Island, so I just had to volunteer there. Me coming back to them 3 years later on the other side of BC says a lot.
