Description
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOME HELP FROM SEPTEMBER ONWARDS. Preferably long term, i.e. Longer than a month.
Daddy Rafa, mummy Alaitz and our two kids, Martin (7) and Sofia (4), are delighted to introduce our baby Laura (born in November) to the Workaway Community.
We are a young and open-minded family with diverse international experiences willing to bring the same opportunity to someone else, like you :)
Living in Palos de la Frontera, Huelva, where the weather is sunny 🌞 almost the whole year. We live in a house with four bedrooms, two toilets and two terraces where we usually spend time having coffee, working out or playing with the kids.
Good News: The beach is 10-minutes far by car and there is also a direct bus almost every hour! 🏖️
We speak English and French and can understand Portuguese and Italian.
We look for someone who enjoys spending quality time with kids, such us playing in a playground while teaching them about different cultures and languages. Some help with house chores will be also required. Depending on the period, our needs would be different. Let’s chat and share details!
We love doing outdoor activities in our free time, learning from others’ point of views and traveling, so we would be happy while treating someone like you as a new family

Help
What we are looking for -during school months- is someone who brings and picks our kids from school and look after them during the afternoon. You would have all the mornings and weekends for your personal activities.
During the summer months, we would need someone spending time with them in the mornings: going to the swimming pool, building sand castles on the beach... and you will have free afternoons :)Languages

You will be accommodated in a private bedroom, with a double bed, a desk and a comfortable chair in case you need them for your studies/work.
Our terrace is available for you to enjoy some coffee, working out, having breakfast or just relaxing.
Our house is located in a privileged location. We live in a sunny and warm place, 10 km far from the beach (by car or bus). Our village is small so you can reach almost everything by walk: school, sports center, swimming park… It has also many interenting places in terms of History of Spain. What else ...
During your time off, we can propose several interesting plans.
You can use the bus for reaching the beach as the weather is normally warm and dry. Horse rides and different parties are often held at the beaches next to our home.
In our city you can visit the historical port from where Cristobal Columbus departed to discover America. We also have a beautiful monastery, a botanical garden and lots of interesting places for you to go around.
You can travel by bus or train to Seville, which is one hour from our house.
You can spend a whole day visiting all its interesting places. Granada, Málaga, Cordoba, Cadiz and even Portugal are interesting places -not so far-, may you need to spend one night out for maximizing your journey.A little more information

Always willing to actively help, both Riyadh and Lucie were the perfect workawayers . Our kids loved them from the very first moment they met each other, they were playful , reliable and responsible when taking care of them.
Alaitz and Rafa welcomed us with open arms and immediately made us feel at home. The communication between us was great and they had so many recommendations on things to do, eat, and see in the area. During our stay, we attended a… read more
