Description
Hello, my name is Yovana. I am passionate about sculpture, painting, earth modeling, and a simpler, more natural life. Together with my daughter, Swami, we decided to leave urban life behind and move to the foothills of a forest reserve.
Our project is to create an artistic village where every design becomes a work of art, where we transform the simple into something extraordinary. We envision a place where people from different countries and cultures around the world can live together, united as one big family based on friendship, fraternity, and respect. We want to live a simpler, more natural, and peaceful life so that others can come and live with us, grow, and contribute to our community.
The goal is to live increasingly self-sufficiently and in harmony with the earth. We use spring water and solar panels for electricity, and we cultivate our own garden.
We have just finished two eco-friendly houses and plan to build more. We want to learn and demonstrate that we can live more simply, in harmony with ourselves and with planet Earth.
We also strive to grow as individuals who respect others and the nature that surrounds us, working daily for our well-being and spirit.
We enjoy meeting and working with people who share these interests and who can also teach us. Our houses are built with recycled materials: earth, straw, and stone. We cook with firewood. We are located near the Parabano Forest Reserve, which extends into Amboró National Park, so we have many neighbors: insects.

Accommodation
We have a cobblestone house for residents and volunteers, water, solar panels, and food. We do not charge any fees. To keep our kitchen full and varied, we only make a weekly contribution of basic foods per volunteer, such as rice, oatmeal, etc.
What else ...
In your free time, you can visit Cerro Parrábano, a forest reserve of over 38,000 hectares. If you wish to go to the city, it is 90 km away. There are only two buses daily that arrive at 5:00 am and 11:00 am. We are located in a place surrounded by forest and mountains, far from shops, so you should bring your own toiletries.
