Hello! We are Miguel (61) and Sonia (59), we transitioned from living in Buenos Aires to living in Traslasierra, Córdoba! We finished building our beautiful house in San Javier, and there is still a lot of work to do, particularly in the garden.

This is a beautiful and quiet place, surrounded by nature. San Javier is a small town, people here still maintain old traditions. "Downtown" is situated approximately 2km away from our house. You can do much walking over here, to small streams, and up the hill to the Champaqui mountain (this only with a guide). You can rent horses, visit Villa de las Rosas - the next town, and drink the classic cordobean Fernet con Cola in front of the plaza. This place is not the right thing if you want the city lights, life here is slow, calm.
Este es un lugar lindo y tranquilo, rodeado de naturaleza. San Javier es un pueblo pequeño, las personas aca aun mantienen sus tradiciones. La plaza del "centro" está situada aproximadamente a 2km de casa. Puedes hacer muchas caminatas por aca, a arroyos, y subir el Champaqui (pero solamente con guia). Puedes alquilar caballos, visitar Villa de las Rosas, y tomar el clasico cordobes Fernet con Cola frente a la plaza. Este lugar no es el adecuado si estás buscando las luces de la ciudad - acá la vida es lenta y calma.

Accommodation
We offer a private room with a private bathroom. Our internet connection is Starlink, which up to date has been excellent. Meals on working days are included.
Ofrecemos una habitación privada con baño privado. Contamos con el servicio de internet de Starlink, que hasta la fecha ha sido excelente. Las comidas están incluidas, durante los días de trabajo.
What else ...
We have a big and sweet dog called Simba, and 2 cats. Our garden has a swimming pool, which is a blessing in summer! You can use it of course. I ask for a clean person, nonsmoker, and with at least minimum Spanish knowledge, as Miguel does not speak English.
Tenemos un perro grande y dulce llamado Simba, y 2 gatos. Nuestro jardín tiene una pileta, que es una bendición en verano! La puedes usar por supuesto. Solicito una persona limpia, no fumadora, y con conocimientos al menos básicos de español, ya que Miguel no sabe inglés.
