What motivates me while traveling is connecting with people through real daily experiences, not just visiting places as a tourist. I enjoy learning from different cultures and being part of local life.
I come from a culinary background as a former chef and food editor, so cooking and sharing Turkish/Mediterranean flavors is one of my favorite ways to contribute. I’m also happy to support with general tasks and enjoy working in collaborative environments.

I’m a native Turkish speaker and fluent in English. I’d be happy to help with Turkish language practice and I’m always open to language exchange. Currently, I’d really like to improve my Spanish and Portuguese while traveling, so practicing with locals or other travelers would make me very happy. I have a strong background in hospitality and food from my experience working professionally as a chef and later as a food editor, so I’m confident with kitchen work, food preparation, and cooking for groups.
I’m also happy to support with daily tasks such as cleaning, organizing, and general house responsibilities. I can help with gardening when instructions are provided, and I adapt quickly to new environments. I’m reliable, practical, and comfortable working as part of a team.

I tend to spend a lot of time observing how people live in different cities rather than focusing on landmarks small routines, street habits, and everyday rhythms are usually what interest me most when I travel.
I also like early mornings in new places: walking before the city fully wakes up, finding local bakeries, and seeing how a neighborhood starts its day.
I’m quite comfortable in shared living spaces and naturally keep things tidy without overthinking it. I don’t mind quiet environments and actually enjoy having both social time and personal space balanced.
I’m also the type of person who enjoys long, unplanned conversations about random topics food systems, cultural habits, design, or how cities evolve over time.
