Description
Hi, my name is Giggi, and I have a great love: Ireland. And a great dream: to be part of an Irish community, even if only for a limited time. This love was born many years ago thanks to its music, strengthened by knowledge of its history and its struggle for independence, and exploded with my first trip to the Emerald Isle. I've visited Ireland three times, and now the prospect of returning as a tourist no longer appeals to me. I've been hosting since 2011, and now I'm finally in a position to take the plunge and give back some of the help I've received from workawayers over the years. I was a musician for about fifteen years, until I was able to purchase a trullo (a typical stone building) with four acres of land, mostly olive, almond, and other fruit trees. (If you're curious, visit my hosting profile "music and yoga in an eco-trullo in Puglia.") This is how my second life began, a life of self-production, healthy food, reducing my needs, and the awareness that "we lack nothing of what we have." For what I can't produce, I'm happy working as a handyman or, in the summer, cooking or making pizzas in villas for tourists.

I learned about, Italian Pizza, "Trullos" (A kind of house), how to cook bread in oven wood, how to grow eco vegetables. I enjoyed "Oustuni", a beautifull city and the sea.
Thanks for your time
