Description
We are an adventure lodge offering an exploration of the wilderness. We are located in the heart of the Saskatchewan River Delta, surrounded by a million square kilometers of amazing wilderness.
We are located 50 kms from the nearest community, only accessible by boat (or snowmachine in winter). There are no roads, only rivers, and no running water, electricity or other modern conveniences. It is truly a unique and wild place to live. Our central location has been the family home for generations. Our family has lived, explored, hunted, fished, and adventured here for over 50 years. Now, this is your opportunity to come and try first-hand the beauty of Northern Saskatchewan and the Cumberland House Delta.
It would be nice to get in contact with you, so we can explain our unique a beautiful place to you.Types of help and learning opportunities

Help
We are a tourism hunting and adventure lodge.
This Summer we are needing assistance with building projects and gardening.
We have kilometers of wilderness trails, we are always expanding our trails, so you can help explore and create trails.
We have 3 super friendly cute dogs that will need to be fed and trained every day.
Our home is off the grid, so we need help with hauling wood and water by hand.
We need help around the lodge cleaning and preparing cabins as we often have guests come and go throughout the seasons. There will be an opportunity to cook as well. We look forward to an off-grid, wilderness adventure life with you!
Since we are an off-grid location, some personal jobs take longer like hauling water, doing dishes, washing clothes, and maintaining fires, and these personal chores don't count towards work away hours and are just part of life in the woods.
In summer we recommend a bug jacket, and tent so you can camp outdoors, there are mosquitoes.
In winter you need a warm parka, winter pants, and lots of warm layers.
Another thing to keep in mind is there is no community or stores close by, so it's isolated from the world. it can be very quiet but nice to be alone in the woods.
We have some internet available, but very little data, so it is discouraged to use it, it's much better to enjoy the time offline.Languages

Can possibly accept pets
We have two dogs of our own, a husky and great pyrenese. The husky can get protective of her food and try to steal other dogs' food. she loves people but likes to be the boss of the food when it comes to other dogs. let us know about your pet and maybe we can accommodate. We are located in the middle of nowhere, so there are no roads to worry about, your pet can run free, but keep in mind there are wolves and bears in the wild. We do not allow animals inside our cabins, so you will have to accommodate your pet outside.
