Our stay with Amor and Joaquim couldn’t have been better. We stayed in their farm one month and the time flew. The food was just great, Amor and Joaquim are amazing cooks, they always use organic products, if possible from their garden. Joaquim make his own olive oil and red wine and we felt so lucky to have the chance to enjoy both of them at

We learned a lot working with them, we had deep conversations about environnement, health, their farming experience and travel. They are both easygoing and really easy to talk to. The work was enjoyable, we did something different every day from farming to eco construction. They have tons of different interesting projects and it was good to help them.
If you are looking for a farm experience with the social aspect we recommend you to stay with Amor and Joaquim, they are excellent people!
We hope to come back one day.You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

I volunteered here for a month and I felt like the time flew. To me it didn't feel like work at all, it was a constant and dynamic learning experience. Amor and Joaquim lavishly taught me how to work in the garden, with the animals, in the shops and the never ending projects they have.
They are the most passionate, creative and hardworking team of

This is not just a farm but also a social project. I think they are making an enormous contribution to the comunity by showing them that there's another way to see the food and their consumption habits as well. I could experience the real taste of the veggies as it should be. No chemicals, no mass production. That blew my mind and I wish many people could have the opportunity I had. Now I am much more conscious of what I put in my plate and I gladly support the local farmers wherever I go, because I know there's a lot of effort and good vibes behind their produce.
I highly reccomend working in this special place, with these unique people. This has been one of the best decisions I've made in my trip in Canada and I can't wait to see them, the pigs, sheep, goats, dogs and the garden again. You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

We learned a lot from Joaquim and his wife Amor, with their lifestyle.
They are hard-working, educated, cheerful and very flexible people. They are always with new projects in mind, and our work on the farm has never been boring. We were very well received and treated like family, the good times of meals always accompanied by the good wine of

We are very happy to have lived 17 days with two Alchemists.
