    Description

We're a family of four living in a beautiful historic home with an extraordinary garden: part cultivated, part re-wilded. We're an entrepreneur and an artist parents homeschooling two wonderful kids. Our days are creative, flexible and active.
We are a nature and crafts-based family and we love to make things with our hands, to mix herbs, dye clothes with natural dyes, paint and draw, cook, etc. We're looking for someone to help us simplify life so we can focus on what matters: our work, our health, our children and our home.

We have hosted au pairs and workaway-ers before and we have a clear idea of scenario would best fit for our family.

We are not looking for someone to entertain our children, we are looking for someone to support their interests, involve them into daily live, foster their interests and mentor them in learning new thins. Food and cooking is an integral part of our life so the ideal candidate would be comfortable cooking healthy and nutritious meals for the whole family, with or without the children.

Overall, we would just love to welcome someone into our family and home to become part of the family rhythm, splitting time between being with the kids, cooking, gardening and helping us with the house.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Live in and help care for a 500+ year-old building of historical significance.

Join our family and explore a more alternative way of being and living, witnessing home educating our children and living a home and connection-centric life.

Develop a deeper connection to the British countryside, slower rhythms and what it means to truly live in a place rather than visit it.

  • Help

    Help

Spending quality time with our children - fostering their interests and mentoring them in learning new things.

Cooking healthy meals for the whole family.

    Helping with light housekeeping work.

We do not own a TV and prefer to be together, outside or to work on creative projects. We ask that anyone joining us keeps their phone away while with the family as we are trying to raise the children with minimal technology around. The right person would be more interested being in nature and doing crafts, than being on their phone.
