WANT TO HELP IN PARADISE?
We are looking for volunteers to join our Family!
We´re one of Sri Lanka’s most sociable hostels made by backpackers for backpackers with a focus on family feel & atmosphere. It´s not just a hostel but a place to meet likeminded travellers, experience the best of Sri Lanka whilst having the MOST fun!
We are only a few minutes away from the best beaches, surf locations, snorkelling, beach clubs, and restaurants. Its the perfect opportunity to explore everything the island has to offer. -

With an abundance of activities around Weligama there is loads to get stuck into! We are just steps from the best learn to surf beach and you can also find diving, snorkelling, whale watching, tea plantations, safaris and we can arrange moped hire and offer free bikes!
We also have local members of staff who would be more than happy to help teach you some words of Sinhalese, learn about their culture or have our housekeeper Nalani cook you her famous rice & curry - we think its the best in town!! -

WERE LOOKING FOR A FEW DIFFERENT ROLES;
CHEF / F&B PERSON / experience in menu development
Our tropical rooftop restaurant is growing year to year and we'd love some help freshening up our menu, adding some new flavours and new dishes and beverages. If you have experience with menu design, cooking from fresh local ingredients and are happy training a multicultural team then we want to hear from you! Short term role or possibility to extend for the right person!
SOCIAL HOSTS -
The main job here is to connect with people and make them feel instantly welcome at the hostel. That includes animating people to join the daily activities and weekly events organised by YOU, to organise exciting and varied things to do on a daily basis, inspire drinking games, introducing people to each other, showing them around, telling them about the best spots to hang out, surf or party and be someone who they can turn to when they have questions.
We´re looking for SUPER energetic people with BIG personality and charisma. Being savvy with social media, photography, or any artistic outlet is definitely also a plus. -

We will provide accommodation & breakfast as well as 20% off our restaurant menus.
We want fun, like-minded people who don't take themselves too seriously, are up for a laugh & will join our close hostel family. We are always up for hanging out, sharing our travel & Sri Lanka experiences and having a few beers in the evenings and of course enjoying everything Sri Lanka has to offer! -
