Description
I am 78 years old. Ilive in a small village in the south of Belgium. I am also an bird watcher and a bird ringer. and an artist: sculptor and painter. I was teacher in primary school, i can teach french if you like. I have a big house and a big garden in a very small village (106 inhabitants). Meadows and woods are surrounding me.

I need help landscaping and general gardening, I need help with the garden. The work here would include painting fences, painting the barndoors, gardening, general cleanup in the house, cleaning up. general help and "bricolage" (minor repairs) and participating in art projects if you wish. I am also an artist: pictures and sculpture. Helping birdsringer during the migration.

This was my first workaway experience and I really enjoyed the time I spent with Michel, I learned a lot and Michel was a very good host, kind and peaceful. I also enjoyed the cooking time and, of course, all of the countryside environment. Thank you Michel :)

I spend 2 Weeks in Michel’s cosy house in the rural area. It is surrounded by a lot of nature, it’s nice for walks and bicycle tours. Michel est passionné par sa région et en parle avec beaucoup d'enthousiasme. il est très accueillant et fait tout pour qu'on se sente à l'aise. mon séjour a été très court mais j'en ai retiré beaucoup. le travail à faire était utile, l'hébergement très cosy, et la nourriture délicieuse ! à une prochaine fois, Michel !
