We speak 3 languages amongst us. The nature and animals here are great. We do beeswax wraps, simple bamboo work, brew kombucha, run a local seed saving network, make herbal extracts/balms, preserves etc. We are musicians (tuba, accordion, piano, harp, bass) and practice most days. Learn about Humanure system, fire prevention, making biochar, eco restoration, get involved with community projects/events.
Our postcode, 4552, qualifies for 88 day Visa. In 2025, I want to try to facilitate long term stays for community work, so let me know if interested in this so I can assess interest.Help
Mostly helping with simple garden tasks, various ongoing projects including property maintenance (weeding...), assisting with seed network, herbs and produce processing, cutting wax wraps, and bamboo work. Also help in community land restoration, the small dairy, more weeding, fire prevention, depending when you come.
Be ready to start work early in summer, so you're done by lunchtime and can enjoy the afternoon.Languages
