  Description

  I've recently moved to this magical place where we are surrounded by nature. There are other families living on the land with whom we have a good community dynamic, mutual aid, support, and good times together.
  
  I'm looking for help with gardening, carpentry, and DIY projects, as well as some household chores, to take care of my dog while I'm at work (I work at a boarding school), and with other community projects
  
  I NEED SOMEONE STARTING ON MARCH 28 OR 29, because I'll be away on the 30th and 31st and need someone to stay here and take care of my dog. You can stay for one or two weeks, maybe longer; we'll decide together :)

  Hello!
  
  I'm Emma, a Galician/Mexican girl (41y.o.) I live with my son Natan (14 years old), and our little dog Rubi (4 y.o.) at a cozy double yurt next to a little forest near (by car) from services and a lot of interesting points.
  
  The yurts are located on a plot of land where other families live with whom we have a good community dynamic, mutual aid, support, and good times together.
  
  All around, trees, forest, nature...
  We also have other animals on the land: a horse, a donkey, cats, chickens, roosters... and wild animals that come to visit us regularly! :) (deer, hares...)
  
  
  I love music, singing, and playing guitar (a little). We often go to jam with friends.
  
  I love cooking when I have free time... (some Mexican-Galician food, and mostly, "Emma's inventions"! ).
  
  I have a little own business (I'll produce and sell some chili and spices products, without gluten , and recently I've begin to sell drinks (smoothies milkshakes, natural jus, kombucha...) at markets and festivals.
  
  I give conversational online Spanish lessons too.
  
  Natan goes to a Montessori highschool and he live half the time with his father.
  
  **We try to live in an eco-friendly and economical way, so we are attentive to reducing gas, water, and power consumption. So we will appreciate it very much if you help us with that :=)
  
  ***It is important to me that you only use eco-friendly and biodegradable cosmetics, such as shampoos, soaps, deodorants, etc. (On the one hand, I am sensitive to chemical odors, and on the other hand, the water returns to the forest through a plant-based water filter). The Earth and we ourselves will be grateful!
  
  I think you will love to be here, we love to meet new people. talk, laugh! sing!! and this area has a rich natural and cultural heritage, and there are a lot of things to do and to discover!
  As we've just moved here recently, it will be a pleasure for us to discover some places with you!

  We'd love to talk in Spanish or French with you if it could help you (I use to teach conversational spanish with an immerrsif method) we can show you the area and depending on the time and the possibilities, other places....
  
  We love hiking! We'd love to discover the area with you !
  
  We will be happy to propose you come with us when we go in the car to places that you could love. Go swimming in the river, lake, pool in summer...
  
  We can talk about France, Mexico and Spain and I can cook Mexican, Galician and Spanish depending on the ingredients I can find here, yummy!! :)

  Depending on the date, and your economy, you can come with us on travel (I'll go sometimes to Galicia), maybe to the Pyrenees for camping, to the Mediterranean....

  Help

  Depending on the moment of the year, I'll be asking you to help me with some of these tasks:
  
  - Help around the house:
  I would like to spend more "quality time" with Natan, and I need to take some time for taking carre of myself (to rest, to learn -I'm learning about thematics as the nutrition, nervous system, etc.- to do some sport, etc.) I need time to work in my little busyness too, and time for taking care of myself.
  
  Cleaning, tidying the house, terrace and other outside espaces, cooking, and some interesting projects like reorganizing the space: books, furniture, etc. to make this space more pleasant! all ideas are welcome! :)
  - Help with gardening: a little garden infront the yurt and a communitary garden.
  
  - Help with wood projects / DIY:
  If you are handy and know how to work with wood, I have some projects to arrange the yurt and the outside
  
  - Support for community projects: We are involved in several community projects, such as the restoration of a communal log cabin, a large-scale agroforestry project, and other tasks aimed at maintaining and making this shared living space enjoyable for everyone. Sometimes feed the animals too :) ...
  
  - Playing/teaching music:
  I sing and I have also a guitar and I'd love to improve my playing... :)
  If you have musical talents we would love to learn with you! I would like to learn the piano as well..
  
  - Speaking English with us.

  Bed and 3 meals (you bring your snack between meals) :)
  
  Depending on the date, we can offer you a place to sleep in the yurt, in a room in the guesthouse (the main house), or in a caravan located on the property between the yurt and the guesthouse.
  
  IMPORTANT :
  **During breaks (lunch time...) and days off, we will share normal household chores as roommates (if one cooks, the other cleans, keep toilets, shower and sinks clean, sweep, etc.) to keep the house tidy and pleasant for everyone on a daily basis.
  
  **On the last day of your stay I will ask you to do the cleaning: wash your sheets/towels, vacuum/mop the bedroom or the space where you slept or the whole espaces if you were in House/pet sitting.
  
  **I am sensitive to tidiness, cleanliness, so please make sure you agree with these conditions, as well as the rules about our ecological and economical way of living that I mentioned above , because it is very important to us. Thank you! :) 🙏
  
  **When I ask for petsitting/housesitting, as they will not represent 4-5h work per day, and I'll not be there for the shopping, I'll offer accomodation but I'll ask you to bring/ buy your own meals. Thank you for your understanding :)

  We are at 50 minutes by car from Toulouse, 45 from Castres, 35 Albi ,25 from Lavaur and Gaillac ...
  There are bus stops not far away here (the 1st is at 7min by bike and 27 by foot) to go to the mains citys as Albi, Lavaur... If I'm at home and I have the possibility, I can take you to the bus stop or other places.
  I have a bicycle for you to use.
