    Description

We are Marinó and Emma. Marinó is icelandic and I’m (Emma) german.
We are living in Northiceland on a sheep farm with 300 sheeps, 7 horses, 1 cat and our two dogs, Hrísla and Tara. We are mostly spending outside working the house that's why we would love if someone could get us some help around the housework and depending on how your interests are there is always some construction or creative tasks in and around the house where we would love to have a helping hand.
The town nearest to us is named Kópasker, it's small but it has all that's needed.
There is a lot of beautiful nature to explore and enjoy.

(Please note that we don’t need help with the farm!)

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Outside of our working times you are always welcome to come with us so you can experience icelandic culture, food and language.
If your are interested in icelandic sheep your are welcome learn about that.
Maybe some of you would like to ride icelandic horses, we have beautiful opportunity for that, especially when the sow is gone there are many paths to enjoy the land on the back of the horses.
We are doing a lot self with our cars (fixing, building, painting,...) You can learn a lot about that from Marinó.
If you leave the house you are in the middle of icelandic nature. There is a black beach on the farm and we have paths and mountains for hiking.

And so are we curious about your way of eating, your culture, and experience of life :)

But there are also always some other projects all kinds that you can help with if you want to (painting, gardening,...)
